Clifford Alton Price, 93
Clifford Alton Price, 93, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Sept. 4, 2019, at the family home. Clifford was born Sept. 24, 1925, in Oakland, Calif. He was the son of Jonathan and Mary (Fuell) Price.
In 1944, Clifford moved to the Silver Valley from Utah. He began work in the Valley as a carpenter’s assistant. He later went to work for the Galena Mine and stayed there until his retirement.
Clifford was united in marriage to May Trainor in Great Falls, Mont., in 1953. Together they raised five children. May passed away in 2006.
In his free time, Clifford enjoyed going fishing, working on his house and listening to country music. Clifford was also a talented seamstress and would spend many nights sewing and making his family clothing.
Clifford is survived by his five children, Frances Satterlee, Ava (Darsen) Wang, Desrae (David) Hart, Clifford Albert (Lana) Price and Lorrilli (Jeff) Jorgense. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, May; and his 10 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pinehurst, Idaho. Following the service, burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg.
