KPD Roll Call: Sept. 17-24

•Received a walk-in report of stalking. Follow-up to continue. Cleared, report taken.

•Conducted follow-up.

•Attempted to contact an individual in Kellogg to assist County deputies. Negative contact twice. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Responded to a report of a disturbance at the 800 block of McKinley Ave. One female was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance with Intent to deliver. Cleared, felony arrest. Lesson here (other than, you know, NOT doing meth) is don’t bring your meth to an Airbnb and then cause a disturbance.

•Evidence and report work.

•Assist K72 with evidence.

•Citizen contact 200 block Cameron Ave. Cleared unfounded.

•Traffic stop on S. Division for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Traffic stop on I-90 on ramp MP 50 for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Citizen contact Main St. Wardner. Cleared Necessary Action Taken (NAT).

•Traffic stop on Hill for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Motorist assist on I-90 EB mp 51. Cleared public assist.

•Citizen contact by Dave Smiths, provided a ride to Amy Lynn’s. Cleared public assist.

•Fight in progress at Zany’s. One of the subjects decided to head butt a deputy. He went from going home... to detox... to getting booked.

•School patrol.

•Recovered stolen motorcycle from K75’s case.

•Stationary radar Cameron Ave.

•Assist SMC with patient. Patient later left hospital and caused some issues at Dave Smith Motors. Subject was taken back to hospital and report taken for a damaged vehicle.

•Evidence work.

•Landline request about stolen cloths for a dryer.

•School patrol.

•Picked up a dog at large on the 200 Block of W. Mission Ave. Dog was later released from the pound to the owner. The owner of the dog was also issued a citation due to us picking their dog up 4 times in one month.

•Dispatched to a burglary alarm on the 300 block of McKinley Ave. Residence was secured and appeared to be no criminal activity going on.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street at 50 on ramp for no headlights on, verbal warning.

•Traffic stop on Hill Street at the overpass for speed, verbal.

•Traffic stop at Main and Airport Rd, male didn’t pull over right away and continued till the intersection, verbal for speed.

•Noise complaint 500 block S. Division, owner of dogs yelling at dogs at all times and neighbor complaining, only wanting warning at the moment. Verbal warning given.

•SKOL!!! Bring on Da Bears.

•Open door Kellogg City Park, concession stand next to baseball field (odd fellows side) was open, notified city road crew/park officials. There was no forced entry, it was left open.

•Tagged a vehicle for 48-hour removal. City lot off W. Idaho. Attempted contact with titled owner without success. Message left indicating vehicle would be towed.

•Citizen contact at KPD regarding pending case(s) and property, questions asked and answered.

•Abandoned vehicle/blight Sunset-Elder. Vehicle (trailer) tagged for 48-hr removal.

•Landline at KPD regarding previously tagged vehicle (W. Idaho). They are making arrangements to have the vehicle moved today. Will leave the call open until it is verified the vehicle is gone.

•Un(p)awful entry 400 block W. Cameron, dog walked into a business and did not want to leave. Taken into custody without incident (See K74 isn’t always serious).

•Stolen vehicle report from Dave Smith Motors.

•Called to a vehicle crash in the area of Market Ave, multiple callers stated the suspect vehicle was a block away. Driver was cited and released for 8004.

•Vandalism contact at KPD, did not want to file a report.

•Tagged 2 vehicles 48-hour removal 8 McKinley, registrations expired on both vehicles on public roadway.

•Follow-up on vehicle tagged on W. Idaho, vehicle is gone.

•Follow-up on trailer on 200 block of Elder, it has been removed from the roadway.

•Follow-up on blight on Caledonia, unregistered vehicle in disrepair on roadway, contacted owner to have the vehicle moved. Will follow- up later in the week.

•Traffic stop Main/McKinley, verbal for speed on Division.

•Traffic stop Elm/E. Cameron, verbal for speed.

•Traffic complaint 900 block W. Cameron, unable to locate vehicle.

•Foot patrols uptown with multiple business contacts/checks.

•Property damage accident at the Cameron Conoco. Cleared report taken.

•911 open line. Subject was walking around town and must have butt dialed 911. Cleared unable to locate.

•Patrolled enjoying the sunset tonight.

•Vehicle accident at the Cameron Conoco. A truck and trailer tried to pull into a Diesel pump and cut the corner to sharp and the trailer scratched the bumper of a brand-new Jeep that salesman was fueling for its new owner. Well I guess they got that dreaded first scratch out of the way. Now they can go JEEPN. Cleared Report taken.

•Suspicious activity at the end of W. Cameron, turned out to be construction workers using a parking lot to lounge, notified the business of their attendance. Unfounded for suspicious activity.

•Property damage crash 600 block W. Bunker, this was not report able and parties had already exchanged insurance information. Referred to insurance companies.

•Stationary: W. Cameron Avenue- several locations and Railroad Ave- several locations.
