KPD Roll Call: March 25-April 1

•Responded to the 400 block of Mullan Ave. for people going door to door trying to sell products. Made contact with said individuals and explained they needed a permit to conduct that kind of business in the city and since we are on a lock down order.......... we were not issuing permits. K77 convince these individuals to leave town.

•Quarantine day two. Trying to hide my disappointment on not finding any Zombie hoards. I was told that there would be zombies. Streets cold and empty.

•Assisted county with a disturbance on the 300 block of E. Park in Elizabeth Park. Parties were eventually separated. Informational report was taken for an incident between the two parties which occurred in city limits.

•Responded to the 700 block of W. Cameron Ave. for a public assist. Individuals needed another eye ball to help move a vehicle so it did not strike another vehicle. Mission was accomplished.

•Handled a landline request regarding a missing persons. Individual turned out to be a resident from Osburn and was referred to another agency.

•Dispatched to the 10 block of Diamond Ave. for an out of control juvenile. After arriving on scene, the situation had already been brought under control by the reporting party.

•Called to the 600 block of S. Division for a verbal domestic, when K76 arrived on scene it sounded like it was escalating very quickly, parties were separated and peace was restored. Male half went to a hotel for the night.

•Landline request for welfare check on Presley Ave. Cleared all code 4.

•Landline request of a mother calling in for her adult son complaining that he still had to go to work during the quarantine.

•Landline request for a bad check. Gave them info on how to take them to civil court.

•Assisted county with a report of shots fired on Theater Rd. in Smelterville. Call came out reportedly at a location that could have been Kellogg jurisdiction. Cleared, other agency assist

•Dispatched to a disturbance at the 100 block of W. Mullan Ave. Subject was reportedly yelling, throwing things, and suicidal. Upon arrival, law enforcement was able to calm the subject and determine they were not a danger to themselves or others. Cleared, NAT.

•Interviewed a person of interest at the Police Department regarding a burglary.

•Dispatched to a report of trespassing on Galena Ridge. The subject did not have permission to camp there and agreed to move along. Cleared, NAT.

•Contacted a subject at the 300 block of E. Cameron with a felony arrest warrant out of Kootenai County who provided false identification information. The subject fled on a bicycle. After initiating a pursuit, the subject was detained. Kootenai County would not extradite the warrant, but the subject was charged with resisting and obstructing officers and providing false information to law enforcement. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Assisted K72 with a squatter on Galena Ridge.

•Landline request regarding a welfare check. Determined a welfare check did not need to be conducted.

•Traffic Stop at Railroad Ave. & Hill St. Cleare, verbal warning for no license plate.

•Traffic Stop at Division St. & Railroad Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for turn signal violation.

•Dispatched to a suspicious circumstance at the 600 block of Upper Third St.

•Dispatched to a report of trash dumping on private property. Follow-up was conducted, and suspects were identified. Follow up to continue.

•Quarantine day three. Things are looking grim, still no zombies and the gondolier is closed. Now where am I going to get my chicken on a stick?

•VIN inspection on the 300 block of 2nd Street.

•The other Dave studied his law book.

•Computer work in the office, updating new computers.

•Traffic stop Division/Cameron, verbal for speed (no radar confirmation, estimated 35-40).

•Attempt to locate erratic driver on I90 westbound from 64, white van all over the road. County located prior to Kellogg, canceled.

•Citizen contact 100 block W. Riverside (in the alley between Riverside and Mullan), questions regarding speed limit sign placement. Directed them to either the Street Department or Traffic Safety Committee.

•Landline request regarding child custody questions, no answer. Was able to later make contact and answer question regarding custody and swapping of children, advised to follow the court order and begin the proceedings for possibly getting it temporarily altered. Public assist.

•Landline request regarding welfare check, welfare check completed on Diamond. Requesting party was notified that the subject is fine. Public assist.

•Called to 500 block W. Mission for animal complaint. Contacted owner about the complaint. Clear, public assist.

•Dispatched to Cameron Conoco for a found check. Made some calls and found owner. Cleared, public assist.

•The other Dave studied his law book and watched body cam footage of past and present officers to pick up on some do’s and don’ts.

•Quarantine day four. No change, still no chicken on a stick.

•Landline request regarding animal issues and/or questions...this is not exactly known, as the person requesting contact will not answer.

•Spoke with a motorist referencing good driving habits...we will see how long it lasts.

•Suspicious vehicle/person in the area of Mullan and Helen. Contacted subject, he pulled over to call/text his wife. Also has a vehicle that only one windshield wiper works as it suddenly decided to dump snow. He was good and went on his way, unfounded.

•Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Mullan Ave. for a verbal domestic. Parties were eventually separated and peace was restored.

•Quarantine day 5. It has started to snow a lot, thinking it’s the start of the next ice age maybe.

•Traffic stop 200 block Cameron Ave. for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Assist K77 with domestic 100 block W. Mullan Ave. Not domestic clear agency assist.

•Dispatched to Kellogg McDonald’s for child locked in car. Osburn Chief saved the day. Cleared public assist.

•Stationary patrol 500 block Bunker. 40 minutes / 0 violations

•VIN inspection 100 block W. Mission.

•Assisted K76 with a disturbance on the 100 block of W. Mullan Ave. Parties were separated and peace was restored.

•Provided a courtesy transport for a female from Hill St. to Pinehurst.

•Mobile patrol of Kellogg. Located no zombies for K73.

•Quarantine day six. Started to issue citations to the Mission Ave Turkey gang for J-walking as they are the only things out and about. Turkey on a stick?? Hmmmm.
