The Hagadone Media Group has created a grant program of up to $1 million in matching advertising funds to assist locally owned businesses during these challenging times.

“As a leading provider of news, information and advertising in North Idaho, today we are proud to announce the launch of the Hagadone Media Marketing Grant program,” said Clint Schroeder, regional publisher. “This program offers matching marketing funds to locally owned companies whose business models have been impacted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.”

Grants up to $10,000 per month will be awarded and can be used toward print or digital advertising within 30 days of the award date in local Hagadone Media Group news publications. That includes The Shoshone News-Press, The Coeur d’Alene Press, The Post Falls Press, The Bonner County Daily Bee, and The Bonners Ferry Herald, as well as Montana and Washington state publications.

Schroeder said that since 1985, the Shoshone News-Press has partnered with local businesses to deliver their message to customers “in both times of prosperity and in times of great challenge.

“These businesses are a linchpin in our community, and during uncertain times, we believe each of us can do our part to help our community come through this pandemic stronger and more united,” he said.

It’s easy to apply.

Simply fill out the online form — www.matchgrant.hagadonemediagroup.com — by answering a few questions about your business and how the additional advertising will help.

This is just one of many ways the Hagadone Media Group is helping businesses stand strong.

“While the COVID-19 virus has created change and difficulties for us all, the ability of our local business community to reach their customers remains essential to their, and all of our, sustainability and recovery,” Schroeder said. “Our company’s greatest assets, by far, are the local communities we serve, and we’re firmly committed to supporting them through this grant program.”
