Don worked various jobs and in various industries over the years, but mining was his career. He moved to Montana and worked for Stillwater Mining Company until his retirement in 2002. Don and Billie lived “on the hill” up Shane Creek.

As mining was his career, hunting was Don’s passion. Don loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman and never passed up the chance to beat you at a game of pool.
