Marcellus Eugene Story, 87

Marcellus “Marce” Eugene Story, 87, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away August 8, 2020 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho. He was born November 12, 1932 in Hibbing, Minnesota; Marce was the son of Arthur and Paulene Story.

Marce attended schools in Minnesota and honorably served in the U.S. Army.

On June 10, 1954 Marce was united in marriage to Velda Story. Three years later they moved to the Silver Valley and have called it home ever since.

Marce worked for over thirty years for the Sunshine Mine as a diamond driller. He worked at several different mines for the company and spent time in Argentina and Alaska.

In his free time Marce loved going camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed wood working, gardening and rock collecting.

Marce is survived by his son Gleen Story; two grandchildren Jesse Story and Story Lee Wood; two great-grandchildren Destiny Story and Jazmine Story. He is also survived by his siblings Clits, Leroy, Gloria and his nephew Kenny Larson. Marce was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Velda and his two daughters Karen and Kathy.

A celebration of life will be held on September 5, 2020 at the family residence.
