STATE TIMBER SALE CR300669, LIGHTS OUT A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 1806 Main Avenue, St. Maries, ID 83861, at 11:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 for an estimated 7,380 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $74,213.05 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $742,130.50. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price is $146.36 per MBF. The sale is located within Section 13, Township 42N, Range 04E; and Sections 19, 20, & 30, Township 42N, Range 05E, B.M., Shoshone County, State of Idaho. Sale duration is 4 years. The sale may include blowdown and/or insect and disease infected timber which may result in additional volume and recovery reductions. DEQ SEEKS COMMENT ON DRAFT IDAHO POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM PERMIT FOR SOUTH FORK COEUR D'ALENE RIVER SEWER DISTRICT - PAGE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROPOSED ACTION: The Page Wastewater Treatment Plant applied to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for an Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (IPDES) wastewater discharge permit for its municipal wastewater treatment facility located at 46643 Silver Valley Road, Smelterville, Idaho 83868. The DEQ is seeking public comment on the draft IPDES permit, associated fact sheet, and application for the Page Wastewater Treatment Plant wastewater treatment facility. This proposed permit authorizes the discharge of treated municipal wastewater year round to the South Fork Coeur d'Alene River for five years. The permit identifies the pollutants of concern and specifies associated discharge limits. Additionally, the permit specifies monitoring and reporting requirements necessary to ensure compliance, protect human health, and assure the integrity of Idaho's environment. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Notice is given that DEQ has scheduled a period to receive public comments. Written comments on the draft permit and fact sheet will be accepted through January 4, 2021, at 5 p.m. MST. A public meeting may be held if requested in writing by December 16, 2020.
