Larry Ray Larson, 51

Larry Ray Larson, 51, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away Nov. 25, 2020, at his home in Osburn. He was born May 15, 1969, in Kellogg, Idaho. Larry was the son of Jack “Rusty” and Bette (Baldwin) Larson.

Larry grew up in the Silver Valley and was a lifelong resident. He attended and graduated from Wallace High School, class of 1987. After graduation, Larry went to work as a miner. Over the years, he worked in all of the mines of the Silver Valley and also spent time mining in Nevada, Washington and Arizona.

On Oct. 2, 1993, Larry was united in marriage to Leahann Sabey.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed tinkering in his garage and doing woodworking projects. He recently taught his daughter how to drive a stick shift and was very proud of her for learning.

Larry is survived by his wife, Leahann Larson; his daughter, Kimberly Larson; twin sister, Sherry Sperber; and siblings Candace (Dave) Merrick, Babe (Terry) Oberg and Jackie (Val) Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ron Wickstrom and Steve Larson; and his brother-in-law Jim Sperber.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
