Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Dec. 2-9

• Traffic stop on the 50 I-90 westbound on-ramp for not stopping at posted stop sign. Cleared, verbal.

• Traffic stop on the 700 block of W. Cameron for speed. Cleared, verbal.

• Traffic stop on the 100 block of W. Riverside for a slow and roll through a stop sign. Cleared, verbal.

• Traffic stop on S. Division and W. Gold for out headlight. Cleared, verbal.

• Cameron Avenue Radar patrol.

• Paper service Mission Avenue. Negative contact.

• Motorist assist at the 49 eastbound on-ramp, helped push a vehicle to safe location. Cleared, public assist.

• Assisted K77 with a suspicious circumstance on the 100 block of W. Idaho. Cleared, agency assist.

• Two found dogs in the Silver Mountain parking lot. One is a tan mix breed female with a small cut above her eye. The other is a brown mix breed female with a hurt back right paw. Dogs returned to owner.

• Responded to the 100 block of Legion Avenue for a verbal dispute. Upon arrival, K77 discovered that parties had been separated prior to his arrival and no crime was committed. What little information K77 did get from the reporting party was that she got into an argument with her two ex-boyfriends. K77 was unable to find out if it happened over the phone or at her residence, if both ex’s were there at the same time or if she was just seeing double because she was so intoxicated (no one was at the residence at the time of call). Remained in the area to ensure peace.

• Conducted a traffic stop on the 900 block of Bunker Avenue. Verbal warning was given for speed.

• Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Idaho Avenue for suspicious activity. Checked the area but did not discover any unlawful activity.

• Domestic in progress in the Silver Valley Tire parking lot, was able to locate the suspect quickly and the male failed to yield down the freeway till the county line, K76 then discontinued. Suspect was located by Idaho State Police in Coeur d'Alene and stopped investigation ongoing.

• Wrong way driver I-90, vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes from 49. Vehicle located by BLM law enforcement and stopped at 53. Traffic control. Cleared, agency assist.

• Landline regarding vehicle registration and vehicle being tagged for removal. Referred to DMV for vehicle registration and advised about bill of sale/temporary registration.

• Dispatched to an unwanted subject on the 900 block of Bunker Avenue. Individual was later convinced to move on, however K77 kept having to make contact with this individual over and over on W. Cameron Avenue throughout the morning for loitering around businesses when they were closed. Individual finally agreed to stop sleeping on other's property. When K77 contacted her multiple times, she referred herself as AKA — Mary Oneill, AKA — Lacey Rose, AKA — Taylor Swift (NOT KIDDING), AKA — The Greek Butcher, AKA The Greek Baker, AKA The Greek Candle Stick Maker (Kidding on those). She was pushing a baby stroller and luckily no child in stroller.

• Dispatched to the 100 block of Portland Avenue for a noise complaint. Verbal warning was given.

• Responded to the 10 block of Jacobs Gulch for an unwanted subject. Individual was gone on my arrival. Searched the area but was unable to locate.

• Domestic in progress 800 block W. Cameron, upon arrival both parties were separated and the party that remained stated nothing physical took place other than physical removal of property from a vehicle. Subject was able to get a ride coming from Coeur d'Alene, gave a courtesy transport to WalMart to wait for their ride. Information report taken.

• Civil paper attempt x1, negative contact.

• K73 almost had to call for back up as the Mission Turkey gang had surrounded his patrol vehicle. It was a tense moment, but then they seen an orange berry left on a Mountain Ash tree across the street and forgot about K73. He drove away slowly avoiding eye contact.

• Person sleeping in front of a business on the 300 block of W. Cameron. Person was again told to leave the premise.

• Person sleeping in front of a business on the 400 block of W. Cameron (Take a guess) person was asked to move off the premise.

• K78 is almost done with POST. Rumor is that he is doing very well, but we don’t know that for sure, as he has forgotten how to use a cell phone. We could live with that part, but his .5 has not brought us cookies in a really, really, long time and that hurts.

• Called to the stroller lady at the Gondolier, as she had overstayed her welcome.

• Called to the same person at McDonald’s, as she also overstayed her welcome there.

• Landline request regarding questions about obtaining Protection Order, referred to Courthouse for application. Public assist.

• County assist in Wardner for a Domestic in progress. Separated couple made scene safe and waited county to arrive. Cleared, assist.

• E Portland radar patrol.

• Worked on Arts login issues so K76 can finish his reports.

• Traffic stop in the 500 block McKinley Avenue for speed, verbal.

• Traffic stop in the Hill Street Depot parking lot. Speed, verbal.

• Traffic stop Bunker Avenue. Verbal, speed.

• ATL on a small green car with a "person on top." K73 was unable to locate the green with the land surfer.

• Parking ticket Riverside and Cedar for wrong way at curb, on/across sidewalk and 30 inches from curb. Yes, it was a really bad parking job.

• Attempt to locate reckless driver/possible DUI, described as a gold four-door sedan. Vehicle exited Hill Street and was last seen southbound. Unable to locate without further information and after checking the area.

• Contacted by an individual at the Kellogg Police Department about getting their plates back after selling their vehicle. Cleared, public assist.

• Assisted K79 with a public assist on the 100 block of W. Mission. Reporting party needed to get his vehicle plates off a rig he sold.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop on the 100 block of McKinley Avenue.

• Contacted by an individual at the Kellogg Police Department regarding a protection order violation. Report was taken and investigation is on-going.

• SKOL! Even if we needed over time to beat the 1-11 team.
