Early Notice and Public Review of a Proposed Activity in a 100-Year Floodplain This is to give notice that the City of Wallace is conducting an evaluation as required by Executive Order 11988 Floodplain, in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management, to determine the potential affect that its activity in the floodplain will have on the human environment. The City of Wallace Swimming Pool Renovation Project is funded in part by an Idaho Community Development Block Grant. The project scope of work includes replacement of the entire pool floor and a 4-foot-wide section of the pool wall, new circulation piping and sealing, replacement of a small recycling tank, and painting of the entire pool floor and walls. The proposed project also includes the replacement of gutter drains and recycling pipes and will encompass approximately 0.12 acres of floodplain. The proposed project is in the City of Wallace, Idaho. The purpose for this notice is to involve the affected and interested public in the decision-making process. STATE TIMBER SALE CR300669, LIGHTS OUT A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 1806 Main Avenue, St. Maries, ID 83861, at 11:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 for an estimated 7,380 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Treasurer, State of Idaho, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $74,213.05 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $742,130.50. The successful bidder's deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price is $146.36 per MBF. The sale is located within Section 13, Township 42N, Range 04E; and Sections 19, 20, & 30, Township 42N, Range 05E, B.M., Shoshone County, State of Idaho. Sale duration is 4 years. The sale may include blowdown and/or insect and disease infected timber which may result in additional volume and recovery reductions. Interested purchasers should carefully examine the sale and make their own estimates as to volume recovery, surface conditions, and proposed construction prior to bidding on the sale. Pursuant to Section 17.12.080 (A) of the Municipal Code of the City of Osburn, the City has received a petition from the owners of the property, requesting a proposed change of zone classification for the following property located within the city limits: 120 North 1st Street, Tract A, Osburn Townsite, with the parcel number RPC00000184500A, also known as Silver Valley Broadcasters, KWAL. The above-referenced legal description currently is classified as Single Family (R-1). The proposed zone classification for said legal description is Light Industrial (M-1).
