Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Dec. 16-23

• Hit and run not in progress on the 10 block of E. Cameron. Cleared, report taken.

• Conducted foot patrol on the 200 block of W. Cameron Avenue. While on foot patrol, observed suspicious activity, which led to a multi-agency investigation that uncovered illegal drug usage.

• Welfare check in the 500 block of S. Division Avenue, male was code 4.

• Called to an animal complaint in the 500 block of W. Riverside. Canceled en route.

• Called to the area of Shoshone Medical Center for a possible 8004 driver, driver was located and contacted. The driver was subsequently arrested for D.U.I.

• Taser class, that is all.

• Animal complaint 400 block of Bunker Avenue. Cleared, NAT.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop on E. Idaho and Oak. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted K77 with an open building on the 100 Block of W. Cameron. Cleared, agency assist.

• Assisted K77 with a bunch of juveniles on the 100 block of McKinley. Cleared, agency assist.

• Possible fight in progress on the 200 block of McKinley. Cleared, both parties’ gone on arrival.

• Foot patrol on Main, McKinley, Portland and Ohio.

• Conducted foot patrol on W. Cameron Avenue, Hill Street, W. Idaho Avenue, McKinley Avenue, Ohio Street, Main Street, S. Division Street and Station Avenue.

• One of the backpack brigade was out walking around, so K77 thought he would shadow him to make sure that Mr. Backpack did not get sticky fingers.

• Contacted multiple juveniles on the 100 block of McKinley Avenue for curfew violation. Verbal warning was given.

• Dispatched to an alarm which was linked to a cell phone. Dispatch attempted to ping the cell, but only got the cell tower's location. Dispatch later discovered an address associated with the cellphone on the 100 block of E. Cameron Avenue. Checked the residence, but nobody was home. Residence was secured and appeared untampered. Cleared, unfounded.

• Assisted Pinehurst with multiple animals from a residence where a K had occurred. Cleared, assist.

• Landline regarding an animal issue at the Bunker apartments, however K78 had already handled the issue in person.

• 911 open line around the area of 500 block of Riverside was unable to find anyone in need of help. Cleared, UTL.

• Assisted county with a DUI stop on the 10 block of E. Cameron. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted K77 with looking for a suspicious person on the 600 Block of Bunker. Cleared, UTL.

• Dispatched to the 600 block of Bunker Avenue for suspicious activity. Checked the area, but was unable to locate said individuals.

• Assisted P&P with a house search. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Suspicious circumstance 600 block McKinley Avenue. Male left his vehicle door open and vehicle running for quite some time. made contact with the owner of the vehicle and he was able to secure the vehicle. Cleared, public assist.

• Citizen contact 100 block Riverside Avenue. Dome light inside vehicle was left on. Made contact to make sure they didn't have a vehicle burglary. All was code 4. Cleared, public assist.

• Report of a 10-year-old that ran away on Cedar Street. Was able to locate 10-year-old about half a block away and was returned to mother.

• Called to Silver Mountain parking lot for suspicious circumstances. Male was cited for possible controlled substance and possible para with intent to use. Cleared, cite and release.

• Suspicious person/activity 100 block Emerald, subject driving Washington plated vehicle going through and checking mailboxes. K78 contacted RP and suspicious person, the person moved from a different rental in the same neighborhood and was checking/retrieving their own mail. Unfounded.

• Certification paperwork.

• K78 fixed his arts login issue.

• Continued taser training.

• Called to 100 block Emerald for possible porch pirates. Cleared, new renters, unfounded.

• K78 started online classes for Drager and Lifeloc.

• Noise complaint on N. Division Avenue. Spoke with a female who was drinking and was using her drunk voice. Now, said loud speaker was in an apartment complex and the nearby neighbors were not enjoying her voice. K73 tried to talk with her about the volume of her voice, but that just made her talk even louder.

• Called back to 10 block N. Division for noise complaint. Cleared, NAT.

• Again called back to 10 block N. Division for same complaint. Apparently, if you've worked for Gwen Stefani backstage, it's legally OK for you to blare your music up as loud as you want and yell as loud as you can.

• Called to an aggravated battery at the same place as the noise complaints. Cleared, felony arrest.

• Assisted county with DUI and transported one K-9 into pound.

• Called to 100 block E. Portland to assist medical. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assist K78 with battery at Health and Welfare parking lot.

• Called to found property 100 block E. Portland. Cleared, property was gone upon my arrival.

• Called to Shoshone Medical Center for PC hold. Cleared.

• Dispatched to battery in Health & Welfare parking lot. Cleared, cite and release.

• Finished online Lifeloc training.

• Got a call for attempted counterfeit bill at McDonald's. Cleared, will follow up tomorrow.

• Landline request about a car parked on the 300 Block of Cameron Avenue with temp tags. Checked on vehicle and found no vehicle with temp tags in the parking lot.

• Assisted K75 with an attempted kidnaping/shots fired/unlawful entry on Bunker Avenue.

• Provided a courtesy transport for an intoxicated individual from 400 block of Bunker to the 200 block of W. Cameron. They were a little lost. Cleared, public assist.

• Disturbance on the 300 block of Ohio. Was just some kids making a video. Cleared, NAT.

• Threats call at 115 E. Portland Ave. Cleared, unfounded.

• Called in as kidnapping at 700 block Bunker Avenue. Cleared, report taken. Information was given by third party. Neighbor reported that her neighbor was almost kidnapped by a group of people in a silver Chrysler 300. Said RP also stated the group of suspects returned and asked if the neighbor was at their apartment. The alleged kidnapping victim apparently went to Coeur d'Alene and has not made any attempts to contact LE. Information report was taken in the event that the actual victim reports.

• Called to intoxicated male on Bunker Avenue. K79 gave him a ride to his residence on Cameron Avenue.

• Paperwork to courthouse — worked on search warrant.

• Landline regarding previous investigation (already submitted paperwork, just following-up).

• Landline request regarding neighbor issues — sounds civil.

• Landline regarding a stray dog, possibly vicious, 10 block W. Mullan. Cleared, UTL.

• Dispatched to abandoned vehicle 800 block McKinley Avenue. Cleared, tagged for 48-hour removal.

• Citizen contact regarding a possible bank fraud issue, investigation ongoing.
