James Ernest “Jimmy” Baillie, age 59,

James Ernest “Jimmy” Baillie, age 59, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Spokane Valley, Washington after a lengthy illness.

Born July 25, 1960 at Wallace, Idaho to George and Ruth (Kolczak) Baillie, Jimmy attended school in Mullan and then entered the Job Corps. He worked for many years as a cook at nursing homes, the Poor-Clare Convent in Spokane, and mining camps in Alaska. Jimmy loved football and was a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks.

Survivors include his two sons, James Sumpter of Kansas, and Levi Baillie of Oregon. Jimmy also leaves a brother, John Baillie of Pinehurst; two sisters, June Baillie of Spokane, and Joy Chapman of Rathdrum in addition to five grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will hold a private memorial service and suggests memorials could be made to the charity of your choice.
