Santa's Workshop thanks the community!

| January 16, 2020 5:07 PM

Another Christmas is over and on behalf of Santa’s Workshop, we would all like to express our thanks to the Dave Smith Memorial Christmas fund for providing food for all of Shoshone County. The hard work in which the Shoshone News-Press staff and Shoshone County Clerk Tami Eberhart put in was vital in organizing another successful food drive. To all the contributors who donated, every year helps this part of the program.

We thank you!

We also would like to thank our toy contributors in the west end of Shoshone County. We were able to help 185 families with 413 children this year with your gifts in giving. Many in our community would not have a Christmas if it wasn’t for the givers in our community. To all of you, I pray God will bless you with good health and much happiness throughout the year!

To Scott Finn, the Wallace Christmas Chair, thank you for all the advice in helping our new board with all of your wisdom! Your many years of experience has helped us.

To Kellogg Moving and Storage, thank you for the many years of service with helping moving toys in and out of storage.

To the Avista Personal who let us use their building and clean. We thank you.

To Cecelia Ruff, we thank you for starting the program many years ago with Sharon Williams helping the last ten years. Thank you! Cecelia enjoy your retirement.

We look forward to continuing this program with Sharon and to provide for the less fortunate for many years to come.

Again, thank you all!

Sincerely,

Peggy White and the Santa’s Workshop Board
