NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Proposed: New Service Fee NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Central Shoshone County Water District, will hold a public hearing on a Proposed New Service Fee, at the Districts Office located at 409 Main Street, Kellogg, Idaho, on the 27 day of January 2020, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., to receive public comment on a proposed policy to establish a new service fee beginning the 1st day of March 2020. A summary of the principal provisions of Proposed New Service Fee are as follows: Whereas the district desires to establish service fees associated with providing water services pursuant to Idaho Code Sections 63-1311 and 63-1311A, and the District has determined that in order to offer the service of allowing payment by credit or debit card there is an additional convenience fee to provide that service and pay costs associated with processing those payments through the credit card servicing merchants. A. A convenience fee for using a Credit Card or Debit Card 3% Per transaction to pay water bills either in person or over the phone.
