Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Jan. 22-29

- Took dog into pound from county.

- Paper service 200 block Main Street, Kellogg. Cleared, paper served.

- Paper service at Shoshone Medical Center. Cleared, paper served.

- Traffic stop Bunker and Hill Street for equipment. Cleared, verbal warning.

- Dispatched to the 10 block of Jacobs Gulch for a suspicious male in a vehicle. Said individual turned out to be a delivery guy.

- Dispatched to a 911 hang-up on the 300 block of S. Division. Made contact with individuals and discovered they did not need law enforcement.

- Dispatched to the 700 block of Bunker Avenue for a 911 hang-up. Checked the area but was unable to locate anyone in need of law enforcement assistance.

- Traffic stop 1500 block McKinley, exhaust was falling off of truck and dragging on ground-verbal warning as the issue was fixed during the stop.

- Parking complaint 100 block of Silver, contacted the owners and they are going to move it. Cleared, public assist.

- Welfare check requested on juvenile in front of Yoke’s selling hand-warmers. Unable to locate upon arrival and all juveniles in store were with adult.

- Parking issue at Silver Mountain, handled by staff.

- Responded to a noise complaint on the 600 block of Bunker Avenue. Verbal warning was given and peace was restored.

- Dispatched to the 600 block of Bunker Avenue for a welfare check. Found out a child was running around the hotel unattended. Mother arrived upon my arrival and took possession of her child. I conducted an investigation and later submitted the information to Health and Welfare.

- K72 received a report of a wanted subject walking on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Located the subject who fled on foot. A foot pursuit was initiated. One male was taken into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant and resisting/obstructing Officers. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

- Assist county with suspicious circumstances in Big Creek. Male with gun attempting to enter multiple trailers in the RV park. Cleared, other agency assist.

- Contacted by citizen(s) at Kellogg Police Department reference juvenile issues. Referred to other agency as this is not taking place in Kellogg.

- Traffic stop 700 block W. Cameron, verbal for speed. DUI evals conducted and criteria NOT met for taking into custody.

- Traffic stop Chestnut (400 block), no lights were used as vehicle stopped and driver exited. Advised them to display current tags on the registration (valid when ran, but one year behind on displaying).

- Traffic stop Cameron/Division, location of occurrence is W. Riverside/Helen. Citation for expired vehicle registration and fail to show insurance to police, verbal warning for driving suspended (infraction version).

- Report of possible gun shots in the Market/Kellogg Avenue area. Spoke with RP and received a better location to check. Checked location and spoke with residents in the area that reported hearing nothing. No other reports. Cleared, unfounded.

- Citizen contact requested at FairBridge. Cleared, public assist.

- Traffic stop on Bunker Avenue for stop sign violation. Cleared, verbal warning.

- Assist county with domestic in progress on Loper Road, canceled prior to arrival.

- Alarm at water treatment facility, walkabout conducted and responsible party notified to de-activate audible alarm.

- Report of possible battery/assault at Kellogg Middle School, investigation started.

- Report of suspicious activity at 300 block W. Cameron Avenue. After looking into the allegations, this was determined to be unfounded for any crime and/or suspicious activity.

- Citizen contact in parking lot of Kellogg Police Department regarding possible theft/identity theft, occurring out in the county and referred to appropriate agency.

- Interview for follow-up on the report from the middle school. Follow up to be done at a later date.

- Checked out with Idaho State Police on a traffic stop Hill/Railroad.

- Burglary on Bunker Avenue. Most items stolen recovered. Extra patrol requested.

- Parking ticket issued on Main Street. Please don’t park in the cross walk. One would think that people going to the gym to work out would… you know… maybe want to take a few extra steps to the door instead of parking in the yellow or cross walk.

- Report approval and checking for NIBRS errors.

- Patrolled the wet streets and alleyways.

- School patrol.
