KPD Roll Call: July 8-15

•I feel like I might have forgot something last week. Well, really all you missed was me repeating “responded to fireworks complaint” about 30 times. Hope everyone had a great 4th. Thanks to Silver Mountain for the show.

•Traffic stop E. Cameron & Elm, verbal warning for speed and the new distracted driving law (cell phone use while driving).

•Assisted 662 with a missing persons case, male was located and was picked up by parents. Cleared other agency assist.

•Assist county with fight in progress in Pinehurst, 2 males fighting with the father needing medical assistance (lift assist). Situation was fine on arrival and parties were separated. Cleared other agency assist.

•Citizen Contact KPD for tenant/landlord issues, clear civil.

•Dispatched to Domestic 600 block W. Park. Clear peace restored.

•Called to the 600 block of W Park for a disturbance, mother and daughter fighting. Cleared NAT.

•Foot patrol with K75 around Amy Lynn’s as well as Main Street and surrounding streets and alleys.

•Called to 100 block Presley Avenue for welfare check. Individual was code 4.

•Welfare check Wildcat Way for a parked semi. Clear NAT.

•Citizen Contact 600 block Bunker Avenue for a traffic complain. Clear NAT.

•Dispatched to traffic complaint for DWP unknown location. Clear UTL.

•Assisted County with a burglary alarm on the 500 block of Commerce Dr. Cleared assist other agency.

•Called to battery on 400 block of Bunker. Clear, unable to locate other party. Investigation ongoing.

•Responded to call for possible fire on E. Idaho. No fire’s took place.

•Called to battery on 400 block of Bunker. Clear unable to locate other party. Investigation ongoing.

•Dispatched to Verbal domestic 400 block Bunker Avenue. Clear NAT.

•Dispatched to parking complaint 200 block Flume. Clear civil.

•Dispatched to unlawful entry 700 block S. Division. Clear unfounded.

•Released a dog from the pound.

•Found property 400 block Bunker Avenue. Turned over to the county as owner lives in Silverton.

•Assisted county with possible burglary in progress on 200 block Main Street, Smelterville. Clear other agency assist.

•Words from the Chief...Oh yea he is on vacation this week, so cancel that.

•Follow-up on possible blights (over grown grass).

•Landline regarding possible left property after courtesy transport. Checked vehicle and unable to locate any items left. K75 happened by and re-contacted person to let them know that no property was found inside the vehicle.

•Citizen contact in front lobby of Kellogg City Hall reference VIN inspection. They paid and got a receipt and were given the phone number for SCSO to call when they would like the inspection done (possibly tomorrow or later this afternoon).

•Report of possible injury to child. Report taken and investigation ongoing, this was a walk-in report. Interviews scheduled.

•Was waved down by an individual on the 1600 block of McKinley- highly intoxicated and missing a shoe. The individual had crashed their car. K73 cited and release, but said individual was unable or unwilling to tell K73 where they lived or give him a phone number of someone he could call. So the person was placed on a detox hold at the SCSO.

•Responded to Kellogg Avenue for a female yelling for help. K73 and K79 arrived and found the house was locked up tight except for a second story broken window (come to find out later that she had broken the window so the neighbors could hear her yell for help). K73 called the Fireman as they have ladders and cool tools. District No. 2 fire was able to enter the house through a second story broken window using said ladders and cool tools. Female had fallen and could not get up. Thinking K79 will remember this call for a while.

•Called to a burglary alarm at the Hill Top Grill in Kingston as the county was already on a unlawful entry call in Osburn. Cleared false alarm.

•Fire alarm 600 block of Bunker Avenue. Cleared other agency assist (most likely someone smoking set off an alarm and nothing was detected).

•Parking citation for no parking zone on Elder.

•Responded to a 911 open call at Yoke’s Fresh Market for possible burglary. Clear investigation ongoing.

•Traffic stop at McKinley/Hill. Verbal for stop sign (from yesterday as I forgot to put it in the brief).

•Follow-up on active burglary investigation for K76.

•Paperwork to court.

•Traffic stop Hill/Legion. Verbal for trailer lights (camper was not plugged in).

•Traffic complaint male subject 300 block McKinley standing in the road. He was in the road upon arrival, but not holding up traffic, moving when vehicles approached. Advised to remain on sidewalk and seek transportation back to east end of county.

•Attempted follow-up on blights. Negative contact.

•Contacted party on Mill/Kellogg Avenue regarding possibly living in camper on roadway. They are doing work on the camper (not staying inside) and in the process of registering vehicle.

•Met with ATF at KPD regarding subject prohibited from possessing firearm. Assisted with location and gave contact information for county as it is not in Kellogg.

•Returned property to owner from safekeeping.

•Found property turned in (unknown where it was found) disposed of.

•Contacted by several persons while at Yoke’s. Questions regarding text message from a Deputy (in Kootenai County), looked up the number and appears legitimate / VIN inspection advised to call when with the vehicle at the residence.

•Domestic 700 block McKinley Avenue, 1 subject cited and release and parties separated.

•Motorist waved me down to report a transient. Cleared refer to other agency.

•Agency assist. Assist county with active residential alarm in 800 block S. Division (just inside Wardner). County and home owner arrived and county completed (no signs of entry into residence).

•Citizen Contact at the KPD for follow up on K75’s case.

•Citizen contact in the Cameron Conoco parking lot with two males on bikes, One of the males had a warrant for his arrest, male was taken into custody without incident. Cleared arrest.

•Citizen contact at McDonald’s after K76 was flagged down about a male possibly involved in 37 code activity. Cleared NAT.

•Dispatched to suspicious noise (loud bang) 400 block Brown. Clear UTL.

•Assisted county with a vehicle failing to yield up moon gulch road, vehicle crashed and individuals ran on foot. Cleared assist.

•Called to Trail Motel for disturbance. One subject was trespassed from the Trail Motel. Cleared NAT.

•Land Line request for missing dog. Clear public assist.

•Dispatched to disturbance not in progress Mission and Hill. Clear NAT.

•Dispatched to non-injury accident 100 block East Cameron. Clear report taken.

•Verbal domestic at Silver Mountain. Clear peace restored.

•Citizen contact on the 200 block of W. Cameron Ave. regarding drug usage. Individual was referred to another agency.

•Citizen contact on W. Cameron subject was walking in the middle of the road. Told them to walk on the sidewalk.

•Open 911 700 block S. Division, turned out to be unwanted person at residence. Everyone was civil and the order was given to leave (complied). Person was trespassed from residence and told that coming back any further would result in criminal charges.

•Called to Cameron Conoco for found property. A black Hyper Bike BMX style bike. put in cold storage.

•Requested drive by on the 100 block of Presley.

•Stationary patrol of Hill Street and Bunker.

•Follow-up on active investigations as well as requests for copies of reports.

•911 call from the 700 block McKinley, unfounded. Heritage Health again. Absolutely nobody was or had been on the phone, as we did a walkthrough of the entire building.

•Assist ISP with locating speeding vehicle (100 mph) going eastbound on I90 from 48. Located vehicle and operator Riverside/Price. ISP came and delivered citation.

•300 block Mission (alley) parking issue, vehicle blocking alley. Owner moved without issue (loading camper with water so it was not parked for an extended period of time).

•VIN inspection 300 block McKinley Avenue.

•Complaint at the intersection of Mill and Kellogg Avenue, items blocking sidewalk as well as overgrown brush making it impossible to walk the sidewalk. Contacted someone at the residence (not living there) and they will assist the resident with removing items and cutting brush back.

•Called to Amy Lynn’s for report of malicious injury to property. Cleared report taken.

•Dog at large 400 block Mission Ave. Dog returned home prior to catching, verbal warning given to owner.

•Responded to call for runaway juvenile on the 600 block of Bunker. Report taken, juvenile has been entered into NCIC.

•Runaway juvenile located/returned to family. Made contact with family and laid eyes and also removed from NCIC. Information forwarded to investigating officers to update their report.

•Medical call on Portland Avenue. Possible overdose with Narcan needed. The medics did a scoop and swoop and got subject to the hospital in time.

•Had lunch in the park, so I will call that park patrol.

•Assist County with patrol vehicle issues. K75 got some leg work in.
