Linda Marie Ives, 73

Linda Marie Ives, 73, formerly of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away July 20, 2020 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born January 8, 1947 in Murray, Utah; Linda was the daughter of Clarence and Leona (Jensen) Case.

Linda moved to the Silver Valley at the age of 6 and has called it home ever since. She attended and graduated from the Mullan High School class of 1965.

Linda worked many jobs over the years including working at Yellowstone National Park, JC Penny’s, Shoshone County CourtHouse, 1st American Title Company and lastly at Furniture Exchange.

In her free time Linda loved to bowl. She played league and even served as President for the Women’s Bowling Association. She also enjoyed traveling, camping and working on various crafts.

On February 13, 1988, Linda was united in marriage to Ken Ives. Ken passed away in 2018.

Linda is survived by her two children Brian Legard and Aaron (Allena) Legard; four step-children Linda Bouliane, Geri Napolitan-Kuisti, Karen Carlson and Lance Ives; siblings Kenneth (Irma) Case, John (RaNae) Case, Debra Bernhart, Joyce (Brian) Watson and Robert (Deb) Case. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ken, her grandson Anthony Legard, two sisters Carol Rieken, Cathy Thomas and her brother-in-law Robert Bernhart.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11:00a.m., at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ken Bartle Officiating.
