•Called to Trail Motel for physical domestic. Discovered it was not physical, one half was sleeping the other half was walking back from gas station as I was knocking. Argument took place and parties separated. Cleared peace restored.

•Citizen Contact Cameron Conoco for directions. Clear public assist.
•Worked on reports.

•Attended a court hearing today.
•Dispatched to Ohio St. for a welfare check. Located said individual and discovered they were A-O-K.
•Handled a VIN inspection on the 700 block of Upper 3rd. St.
•Responded to an animal complaint on the 500 block of S. Division St. Individual was given a warning about the dog being aggressive to the neighbors while being unattended.
•Attempted to locate a vehicle on E. Mullan Ave. for a traffic complaint that had a swimming pool in the bed with kids inside swimming. Searched the area but was unable to locate said vehicle.
•Served paperwork for the city.
•Assist County with possible 8004 driver I90 EB. Cleared unfounded.
•Assist county with another 8004 driver I90 EB. Cleared DWO.
•Called to Amy Lynn’s for theft of firearm. Upon investigation, firearm was not stolen but placed elsewhere for safe keeping. Cleared unfounded.

•Traffic stop E. Cameron Ave for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.
•Foot patrol... lots and lots of foot patrol.
•Assisted K75 with a stolen firearm 100 block E. Portland. Clear agency assist.
•Assisted K75 with a traffic stop Cameron Conoco. Clear agency assist.

•Public assist with courtesy transport SMC to 400 block Bunker Ave. Clear public assist.
•Dealt with abandoned vehicle 400 block of Price. Vehicle was on private property, but did not belong to the current resident. Vehicle not licensed/insured. Information gathered and contact was made with titled owner and they came and retrieved the vehicle.
•Assist K77 with disturbance at the Amy Lynn’s, situation was calm prior to my arrival and parties were separated without incident.
•Dispatched to the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. for a disturbance. After all said and done, parties were separated and verbal warnings were given.
•Took a landline request regarding evictions. Cleared civil.
•Handled an unlicensed vehicle on Price St. Vehicle was towed by titled owner.
•Made a citizen contact on the 600 block of Bunker Ave. regarding camping. Individuals were told not to set up their camp directly on the rails to trails and Kellogg City Park.
•Got an attempt to locate a runaway juvenile from Spokane from Dispatch who supposedly may be in the Kellogg Area. Spoke with family members but its sounds like said juvenile hasn’t been to Kellogg in a couple of days according to GPS on the juveniles cell phone.
•Suspicious vehicle/ persons were looking for their dog who had recently had an injury to its eye. The dog took off from the parking lot of SMC.
•Called to SMC for suspicious vehicle. Cleared NAT.
•Citizen contact E. Idaho for male sleeping in vehicle with door open. Cleared NAT.
•Called to 600 block Cameron for individual shining lights around vehicles. Subject was with vehicle at SMC.
•Assist County with failure to yield in Smelterville.
•Fire alarm at Fairbridge inn. Cleared other agency assist.
•Foot patrol.
•Assist county with returning found property.
•Assisted D2 with a fire alarm 600 block Bunker Ave. Clear other agency assist.
•Foot patrol Bunker Avenue, Main, S Division, Maple, Market, Mill, Kellogg, 3rd Street.
•Took a dog into the pound, found 500 block Bunker Ave.
•Assisted K75 with Citizen Contact 300 block E. Idaho. Clear agency assist.
•Citizen Contact at Kellogg City Park for after-hours walking. Clear, informed of park hours.
•Assisted K75 with suspicious person at SMC. Clear agency assist.
•Assisted K75 with suspicious person at 600 block W. Cameron. Clear agency assist.
•Assisted county with a failure to yield, Matthew Loop, Smelterville. Clear other agency assist.
•Dispatched to the 300 block of E. Idaho for a disturbance. Upon my arrival the individual became more upset, left the area and proceeded over to the Hill St. & W. Mullan Ave. and attempted to fight people at a residence. Individual was soon arrested and taken to jail.
•Responded to the 700 block of McKinley Ave. for a public assist. Individual needed a ride to SMC to get checked out. Individuals dog was placed in the pound and I provided transportation for the person.
•Contacted individual who was lighting off fireworks in the Silver Mountain parking lot. Clear individual was warned.
•Assisted county with possible over dose in Kingston. Clear assist other agency.
•Responded to the 10 block of E. Cameron Ave. for a vehicle on fire. Fire was put out and report was taken. Also helped the stranded driver get a tow.
•Dispatched to the 600 block of Bunker Ave. for an animal complaint. I checked the area but was unable to locate a dog left alone.
•Released dog from the pound.
•Vin inspection Mission Ave. K79 handed.
•Vin inspection on 100 block of W. Mission Ave.
•Traffic stop on Hill ST. in front of Humdinger for a rolling stop. Clear verbal.
•Traffic stop at Lower 3rd and Railroad for going through stop sign. Clear verbal.
•Training with K76.
•Open door at Lincoln mall. Clear building secured.
•Words From the Chief: “Got a call today about speeders on Bunker, this time it was from a residence in the Emerald Addition. They said it has been getting worse and would like to see more emphasis on Bunker. Very unusual to get a complaint from someone in the Emerald Addition. So more emphasis on Bunker.”
•VIN Inspection 400 block Main Street, Kellogg.
•Animal complaint somewhere in the Portland/E. Idaho area. Male subject struck dog the evening prior. RP did not want to leave information and does not know where dog/owner currently are. Advised would keep an eye out in order to check on the animal.
•Attempt follow-up on active cases Interview(s) conducted.
•Hit and run on Cameron Ave. by Dave Smith. Follow up to continue.
•Landline request regarding neighbors burning rubber. Refereed to county as it was out of our jurisdiction.
•Responded to possible fight on 100 block of W. Riverside. Clear Suspects gone on arrival.
•Follow up on previous case.
•Landline request regarding lost dog. Clear unable to contact.
•Stationary patrol Bunker Ave.
•Follow-up on active cases/reports.
•Take paperwork to Court/Prosecutor.
•Assist Health and Welfare on E. Park with intake report and concerns of possible abuse. Referred to county as location was found to be in their area. Continued to assist H&W. Other agency assist. While out with Health and Welfare, was able to close out 2 other referrals on the law enforcement side.
•911 open line 600 block W. Cameron. Dispatch was able to make contact and there was no emergency. They would be checking their lines to see where/if possible/ the call came from. Canceled as it would most likely be a medical call anyhow. *Mountain Valley Care and Rehab is the location.
•VIN inspection at Kellogg City Hall. Person left prior to my arrival as they did not want to wait.
•Malicious injury/graffiti 400 block W. Cameron. Report taken, video under review.
•Landline regarding civil stand-by. Advised to call ahead to ensure property/items will be ready and to call to request (was not in county at time of call).
•Called to the Amy Lynn’s from a citizen contact about a strange person on the property. Cleared NAT.
•Patrolled in the heat wave.
•LL regarding dog at large in the McDonald’s parking lot. Dog took off prior to my arrival. Cleared UTL.
•Called to 100 block Mission Ave. for unwanted subject. Verified as civil standby. Cleared public assist.
•Assisted K75 with a civil standby on 100 the block of W. Mission Ave. Clear assist .
•Fire extinguisher day. For the vehicles I was able to get into, make sure you check the back of the vehicle and ensure the extinguisher is where you want it to be.
•Citizen contact parking lot of KPD giving possible drug information. Public assist.
•Landline request regarding dog possession, subject never answered with several attempts made throughout the day. Negative contact.
•Traffic accident, vehicle vs bicycle. Bicycle came through intersection and struck vehicle. Report taken...with some people not happy. No citations to be issued at this time.
•4 landline requests regarding various things 1) follow up on vehicle accident 2) follow up on vandalism 3) possibly found property with no answer on several calls back 4) possible civil stand-by. Turned over to oncoming shift.
•Follow-up on vandalism/graffiti at Silver Valley Tire.
