Casey Trent McGrath

Casey Trent McGrath was born May 20th, 1970 in Spearfish S.D. to Doris and Charles McGrath. Casey spent most of his childhood in Butte MT. Casey graduated high school in 1988 and soon after joined the U.S Army, serving in the Gulf War. In 1996 he left the Army and moved to Missoula, working for Pacific Steel until he rejoined the Army after the September 11th attacks, deploying 4 times to Iraq. While on leave, he met his wife of 16 years, Shannon Pierce. Getting married in October 2004.

Casey was preceded in death by his father Charles, his mother Doris, and his brother Charles Jr. He is survived by his wife, Shannon, his four children, Alex Bollin, Katelyn McGrath, Hanna McGrath, and Stephanie Ivie. His brothers and sisters, Mike Bestgen, Jesse Bestgen, Billy Bestgen, Bonnie Bowman, Jane Bowman, Donna Sullivan, Patti Larios, Cody McGrath, Carter McGrath, and Molly McGrath.

Services will be held at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery on June 8th at 12:oo pm. 1911 Tower Road, Missoula MT. A reception will follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2420 South Ave, Missoula MT
