•Called to the 600 block of West Park for a domestic in progress, During the investigation a female was taken into custody. Cleared arrest.

•Traffic stop at 2nd and Silver for speed, verbal.

•Arrested a suspect in a forged check case.

•Assisted K73 with an arrest as a cover officer. Cleared, agency assist.

•Conducted follow-up investigation on a fight at the middle school. No charges as this is a victim refusal. Cleared, report taken.

•Attempted to make a notification at the 300 block of W. Mission Ave. Cleared, negative contact.

•Dispatched to a barking dog complaint at the 10 block of W. Mullan Ave. This is a continuation of an active case. Cleared, NAT.

•Contacted a pedestrian in the roadway at the 400 block of Railroad Ave. Cleared, verbal.

•Contacted a suspicious person erratically talking to their sandwich at the Kellogg City Park. Discovered that this individual was very concerned about a “device” (perhaps the sandwich?) that allowed him to speak to the dead. Another separate device was discovered that is used to smoke methamphetamine. One male was taken into custody for possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Dispatched to a welfare check for a child climbing on the mountainside. Made contact with the reporting party and the responsible parent who was aware of the behavior. Cleared, NAT.

•Handled a landline request regarding a possible protection order violation. Follow-up to continue.

•Dispatched to a report of an attempted unlawful entry at the 400 block of McKinley Ave. No individuals upon arrival. The building was secure and contact was made with the responsible party. Cleared, NAT.

•A short time later, K77 checked again on the building of McKinley Ave. with the suspicious activity. This time, K77 observed numerous signs of forced entry. Covering units assisted with searching the building, but we did not locate anyone inside. Report was taken.

•Conducted foot patrol & building checks on McKinley Ave, W. Idaho St, Ohio St, Bunker Ave, Hill St, Main St, Wildcat Way, Railroad Ave, Cameron Ave. (East & West) & Station Ave.

•Served a death notification on the 300 block of W. Mission Ave.

•Attempted paper service on the 400 block of W. Riverside Ave. but was unable to make contact with anyone.

•Dispatched to suspicious activity on the 500 block of McKinley Ave. Reporting party thought the individual may be trying to break into a building. Checked the area, but was unable to locate anyone. Checked the building and did not observe any forced entry or anyone inside.

•Assisted K77 with possible unlawful entry in the Lincoln Mall. Building was cleared and nobody was found inside. Cleared assist.

•Traffic Stop at the 600 block of W. Cameron Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for turn signal violation.

•Traffic Stop on the Dike Rd. between Hill St. & Division. Cleared, verbal warning for obstructed plate.

•Traffic Stop at the 1200 block of McKinley Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for obstructed plate.

•Conducted follow-up on a fraud case.

•Received a walk-in report of domestic battery involving a vehicle from earlier this week. Cleared, report taken.

•Dispatched to a report of a hit and run traffic collision. Upon my arrival the other party returned. A crash investigation and information exchange were conducted. Cleared, report taken.

•Dispatched to make contact with an individual regarding a report of domestic battery from the night prior. Turned out to be a report of stalking and request for information regarding civil issues. Cleared, NAT.

•Handled a landline request regarding an ongoing stalking/protection order violation case.

•Attempted arrest warrant service at the 100 block of E. Idaho Ave. Cleared, negative contact.

•Traffic Stop originating from a violation at W. Cameron & Bunker Ave. The vehicle failed to yield until stopping at Airport Rd. in Smelterville. Cleared, verbal warning.

•Attempted to locate a suspicious individual on the side of I-90 at the milepost 49 area. Cleared, unable to locate.

•Contacted two pedestrians in the roadway at the 200 block of E. Idaho Ave. Cleared, verbal warning.

•Conducted paper service on the 500 block of Lower Page Rd. & the 400 block of W. Riverside Ave. I was only able to serve one location.

•Dispatched to the 600 block of Bunker Ave. multiple times for a possible narcotics violation. The final time I was called there, I was able to make contact with the individuals, but I did not observe the crime being committed. I did however discuss with them any future usage and what that could bring on them.

•Responded to the intersection of Hill St. & Railroad Ave. for a possible prowler. Checked the area but was unable to locate anyone.

•Assisted K76 with a traffic stop on the 600 block of Bunker Ave.

•Traffic Stop at the 400 block of Bunker Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for obstructed plate.

•Traffic Stop at the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. Cleared, verbal warning for equipment.

•Citizen contact at the 10 block of Jacobs Gulch with an individual inquiring about medical care in Shoshone County. Cleared, public assist.

•Executed an arrest warrant at the 600 block of S. Division St. after receiving a tip that a wanted subject was hiding there. After gaining access to the residence, the wanted subject barricaded themselves in an attic space. One adult male was taken into custody for their outstanding arrest warrant and resisting/obstructing law enforcement. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Conducted follow-up on multiple active cases.

•Dispatched to a report of stalking/harassment. Cleared, public assist.

•Called to Silver Mountain for a room that had a distinct odor coming from it and into the hall way. Knocked on door and attempted contact, however after looking through the peep hole they decided not to come to the door. We advised them to stop what they are doing through the door. Cleared, negative contact.

•Called to Hill St. and Railroad Ave. for a report of a suspicious person looking into the Dave Smith cars with a flash light. Myself and K77 surrounded the area, however we were unable to locate the subject. We also confirmed that it was not Dave Smith security. Cleared UTL.

•Traffic stop on the 600 block of Bunker Ave. for stop sign violation, verbal.

•Harassment/Stalking 100 block of E. Portland. No crime found at this time, advised to contact courts reference possible Civil Protection Order.

•Traffic stop 700 block W. Cameron, citation issued for speed 36/25 in the 500 block of W. Cameron.

•Agency assist for theft/lost property. Cell phone was lost or stolen from the transfer station, follow-up conducted and report taken. Requested for the investigation as this was a county employee.

•Landline request regarding ongoing investigation, referred to investigating officer.

•While patrolling, spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Cameron Conoco parking lot. While running the plate, the vehicle drove off. However, his registration was expired. When conducting the traffic stop, the driver failed to yield. After finally pulling over, the K9 was ran and numerous 37 code items were located. Male was arrested for numerous charges.

•Report and evidence work.

•Ran reports up to Court for in-custody(s).

•Assisted fire with a smoke alarm activation at the 600 block of Bunker Ave. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Dispatched to a report of Grand Theft Auto in progress at the 10 block of E. Cameron Ave. Event turned out to be the 100 block of N. Hill St. The vehicle dispute turned out to be civil. The driver of the vehicle had an active arrest warrant and was taken into custody without incident. Cleared, misdemeanor arrest.

•Traffic Stop at I-90 milepost 50 westbound. Cleared, verbal warning for fail to display license plate.

•Hit and run crash 800 block of W. Cameron, power box was taken out on the south side of W. Cameron across from McDonald’s. Located suspect vehicle and driver, cite and release for striking fixture adjacent to highway/ Fail to Notify of property damage crash. Photos taken and report taken.

•Assist K72 with a person at the city park.

•Asssit K72 wth two people on E Idaho.

•Follow up on abandoned vehicle paper work.

•School patrol.

•Agency assist. Gave a patient a ride home from SMC.

•Follow-up on cell phone theft.

•Follow-up on motor vehicle crash with obtaining estimate of property damaged (Avista).

•Follow-up on Identity Theft report/investigation initiated in January.

•Agency assist at Kellogg High School. More information will be obtained to determine if investigation will proceed.

•Located a vehicle in the 100 block of W. Cameron, running and unattended. Damage to vehicle looked fresh, contacted owner of vehicle and they advised the damage had been done prior (this was not a located hit and run). Unfounded.

•Patrolling of the streets of Kellogg in the false spring weather (it’s trying to trick me into taking the top off the jeep).

•Report of threats via social media 100 block of E. Portland. After obtaining information, no threats were made. Advised blocking and ignoring incoming messages from unwanted persons (the threat was to bring the police to retrieve property), unfounded.

•Trespass complaint in the 500 block of S. Division. Contacted resident that wanted a person trespassed from their property (they were there earlier in the morning). Located person that was there and advised them they are trespassed from the location without incident. In-house information was updated documenting the trespass notice.

•Lots of follow-up on active investigations.

•Traffic stop 400 block of Bunker, verbal warning for driving wrong direction (one way) and verbal warning for suspended license (licensed driver on-scene).

•Traffic stop I-90 WB 50 on-ramp for stop sign violation. Cleared verbal.

•Most of the day spent on follow-ups and interviews.

•Courtesy transport from SMC to residence in Kellogg.

•Report of loud music near Station Ave, unable to locate.

•Responded to the 700 block of S. Division for shots fired. Discovered the individual went outside to check on a possible burglary of their residence and ended up accidentally discharging their firearm into the ground. K77 ended up coaching the individual on proper firearm control and safety.

•Dispatched to the 10 block of E. Portland Ave. for suspicious activity. Upon arrival, K77 discovered it was a bunch of kids farting around town. K77 escorted them back to the daycare from where they snuck out.

•Assisted county with crash on Commerce Drive for reasons of officer safety. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Pretty sure someone gave me some Corona and not the type that is good with lime.
