Community thanks

The Shoshone County Elected Officials and the Emergency Management would like to extend a big thanks to the whole community.

It is gratifying to see how quickly and well our community has come together to deal with this COVID-19 situation.  With the swift changes to the operations at the Courthouse and Sheriffs’ Office we have experienced a significant amount of understanding and support. County Staff are working hard to minimize the effect of the social distancing measures put in place this week. We encourage you to continue to support your neighbors, friends and local businesses as we navigate this challenging time. 

Finally, we want to continue to thank the Healthcare Professionals and First Responders that are working tirelessly to not only deal with COVID-19 but also their regular duties and emergencies that continue to happen every day!  Keep up the great work!
