KPD Roll Call: April 29-May 6

•Landline regarding odd items left on someone’s property. Extra patrols requested (nothing criminal at the moment other than the possibility of trespassing).

•Landline regarding dog in the pound. Advised what dog we have in the pound (picked up last night) and it was not their dog.

•Released a dog from the pound.

•Civil Stand-by 600 block S. Division. Canceled prior to arrival by person requesting.

•Worked on updating E-Impact on the computers. Both computers in the bullpen should now have E-Impact on them, updated and working properly.

•Unwanted subject 100 block E. Cameron, unfounded. The person was there visiting another resident without any issues and gone prior to arrival.

•Called to Amy Lynn’s for fight in progress. No fight had occurred. Cleared NAT.

•Physical domestic 700 block of Main in Wardner, referred to other agency.

•Landline regarding exchange of information on a crash, referred to insurance company(s).

•VIN inspection 300 block Emerald.

•Traffic stop Legion/Hill, citation issued for DWP, verbal warning for insurance and permitting unauthorized driver to operate motor vehicle (insurance information was found out after citation had been issued).

•Dog at large chasing people out walking their dog, located in 100 block of W. Mullan. Able to find and capture said dog (by asking if she wanted to go for a ride and opening my door). Taken to the pound happily.

•Called to Amy Lynn’s for unwanted subject. Upon arrival one female was cited and released for DUI.

•Called back to Amy Lynn’s for same female. Unlawful entry. Female was cited and released... again.

•Called to Legion for what was called as domestic, neighbors were being loud. Cleared NAT.

•Worked on FTO manual/prep/DOR’s, etc.

•Placed a dog in the pound from County.

•Placed another dog in the pound from County.

•Agency assist at Walmart for child locked inside a vehicle, canceled prior to arrival.

•Report of theft 100 block of E. Portland. After speaking with parties involved, this is civil at the moment. Call was closed, but will be reopened on Monday should the property (vehicle) not be returned by then.

•Took dogs into pound from county.

•Released a dog that K74 took in earlier in the day.

•Citizen contact at KPD. Cleared public assist.

•Called to Mayor’s Park for campers in the park. Cleared verbal warning.

•Citizen contact at Amy Lynn’s. Cleared public assist.

•Took another dog into the pound.

•Welfare check on Hill St. Subject was code 4. Cleared public assist.

•LL request regarding welfare check. Cleared public assist.

•Domestic at 10 block of Mission Ave. Verbal only, cleared peace restored.

•Assisted with training the other Dave on building clearing.

•Assisted K75 with verbal domestic on 10 block East Mission, cleared.

•Room clearing training.

•LL request for an apartment flooding on 10 block W. Mill. Contacted Landlord. Cleared NAT.

•Worked on errors in Arts.

•Stationary radar Bunker Ave.

•Worked on K72’s Report clearing errors and follow up.

•Stationary radar at E. Cameron & Silver Valley Rd.

•Stationary radar at Bunker & Hill.

•The other Dave had some uniform citation training.

•Vehicle maintenance (Durango had some issues this morning....turned out to be a spark plug).

•Assist county with Domestic in the Cataldo area. Kootenai County arrived as it was originally said to be taking place on Canyon.

•Called to the 600 block of Bunker Ave. for a hit and run-report taken.

•Called to the 400 block of Bunker Ave. for a unwanted subject/domestic in progress. Cleared, peace restored.

•Assisted county with a run away juvenile from Washington. Shortly after having mom pick him up, he jumped out of the moving car at Kellogg Plastics. He then was able to get back into the vehicle and went to Washington. Cleared, other agency assist.

•Citizen contact with a suspicious person at Cedar and Brown. Cleared NAT.

•Assisted K76 with suspicious persons Cedar & Brown Ave. Cleared NAT.

•Citizen Contact 600 block W. Cameron Ave. Clear verbal.

•Foot Patrol of W. Cameron, Brown, Riverside, Cedar, Chestnut, E. Portland, Maple.

•Found property 800 block W. Cameron.

•Building Check 100 block W. Cameron.

•Worked on reports/ studied 4th Amendment.

•Vehicle maintenance day. Seem to have located the issue that was putting 3/4 of our fleet in the crappy running stages....diesel in the regular fuel. Starting the Charger looked like a scene from a James Bond movie (when it stayed running that is). Test drive was even scarier. Spent a few hours siphoning the dirty fuel in order to change with good fuel. Once this was done, another test drive was conducted and paperwork was run to the courts. Vehicle seems to be running up to par now.

•Worked on issues for the other Dave logging in to the report system. In the morning it would not work. In the afternoon it worked...so I don’t know. Will monitor to see if any other issues pop up.

•Assist with follow-up on K77’s case (medical records obtained).

•Worked on forms for office.

•VIN Inspection 600 block McKinley.

•Released a dog from the pound.

•Traffic stop at Hill and Railroad with no plates. Verbal warning.

•Setting up lifelock things.

•Assited D2 fire for a bonfire complaint. Cleared public assist.

•LL Request to un-trespass someone. Clear, yup you read that right.

•Dispatched to 10 block W Mullan for Bonfire complaint, clear public assist.

•Assisted K76 with Traffic Stop. Clear verbal.

•Training on proper vehicle maintenance and walk around/ radar.

•VIN Inspection 100 block W. Mullan.

•Landline regarding returning property (this may or may not be setup for the weekend, as they are coming in from out of town).

•Worked on Lifeloc programming.

•Civil Paper Service 300 block E. Cameron, paper served.

•Evidence work (received a box of items back from the Lab).

•Called to a fight in progress in the 400 block of Bunker, however was canceled due to it actually happening in the county.

•Landline request regarding theft of some animals. Cleared civil.

•Landline regarding an ongoing investigation at the Amy Lynn’s.
