Vernon Lee Tesky, 68

Vernon Lee Tesky, 68, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away Nov. 8, 2020, at home with his family by his side. Vernon was born Feb. 4, 1952, in Riverdale, N.D. He was the son of Andrew and Martha (Reinhardt) Tesky.

In 1957, Vernon moved to the Silver Valley with his family from North Dakota. Vernon attended and graduated from Wallace High School, class of 1970. After graduation, Vernon enlisted in the United States Army. After serving his country, Vernon returned home and went to work for the Sunshine Mine as an electrician.

Vernon was a proud member of the American Legion, the Osburn VFW and the IBEW.

Vernon had many passions including camping, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed restoring his 1966 Ford Mustang. Vernon also loved and enjoyed spending time with his family — especially his grandchildren, and many close friends. His smile and contagious laugh will never be forgotten.

Vernon is survived by four children, Jaime (David) Gendrow, Dan (Jamie) Tesky, Keisha Oxendine and Samantha Oxendine; his love, Kathleen Roth; three grandchildren, John Paul Webb, Levi Tesky and Adlee Tesky; siblings Wilma, Tina, Dennis and Donnie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.
