Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Oct. 7-14

• Responded to a possible overdose on the 100 block of E. Portland Avenue. Prior to arriving, District 2 Fire/EMS was calling for LE assistance. Apparently said patient dropped some drugs in front of EMS, got scared, and drove away. Individual was later located near Big Creek and after K77 conducted an investigation, the patient was taken to jail after finally being cleared by medical the second time.

• Dispatched to 200 block of McKinley for a lost child. K79 disregarded because the RP was in Wallace.

• Called to found property on the 300 block of E. Idaho. Cleared, NAT.

• Called for a welfare check on the 200 block of W. Cameron. Cleared, everything was code 4.

• Assist K74 with a disturbance at the Amy Lynn's.

• Traffic Stop Cameron Avenue.

• Dispatched to the 700 block of Bunker Avenue for suspicious activity. Made contact with these individuals and discovered no criminal activity or criminal intent.

• Dispatched to a suicidal individual on the 200 block of W. Cameron Avenue. Said individual ended up being transported to Shoshone Medical Center for evaluations.

• Assisted K79 with attempting to locate a suspicious individual on Hill Street. Checked the area but was unable to locate.

• Traffic stop X3 on E. Cameron Avenue. Cleared, verbal.

• Park patrol.

• Lunch school patrol.

• Extra patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Assisted Shoshone Medical Center with a person that didn't know where they were and acting weird. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Foot patrol Kellogg High School football game.

• Citizen contact at Football game regarding legal actions. Cleared, public assist.

• Conducted multiple citizen contacts at Teeters Field regarding an unwanted subject. Spoke with said individuals and referred to a local organization. Cleared, civil.

• Dispatched to a domestic in progress on the 100 block of W. Riverside Avenue and the reporting party was waiting for law enforcement at Teeters Field. Discovered there was no domestic taking place and referred said individual to a local organization. Cleared, civil.

• K77 was dispatched to the 10 block of Jacobs Gulch for an unruly individual. Apparently, law enforcement's presence was enough to calm the individual down. “No action was taken other than showing my ugly face.”

• Dispatched for a public assist on the 10 block of Jacobs Gulch. Individual needed a ride home.

• Traffic stop McKinley and Hill, adult and juvenile on an off-road ATV. Verbal warning for fail to signal and juvenile Helmet. Advised to stay on trails only for off-road units.

• Malicious injury to property 300 block Chestnut, citation issued to suspect, report taken.

• Called to 100 block North for a parking complaint. Cleared parking citation issued. Vehicle marked for 48.

• Assisted county with traffic stop I-90. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Called to Cameron Conoco for report of domestic battery. Cleared, report taken.

• Domestic in progress 600 block Bunker Avenue. Cleared, unfounded.

• Called to a citizen contact in reference to a domestic from last night behind the trail. Cleared, NAT.

• Traffic stop in the McDonalds parking lot for stop sign violation, verbal.

• Assisted K74 on a traffic stop.

• The Vikings will be the death of me.

• Traffic stop in the Hill Street Conoco parking lot for distracted driving, verbal.

• K76 forgot to add the dispatch to the Gondolier for counterfeit bills, the bills were not counterfeit; this was unfounded.

• Traffic stop Hill Street under I-90, verbal warning for vehicle registration (display and renew).

• Agency assist for grand theft auto in progress. After a slow chase through Smelterville and Pinehurst, he was able to help apprehend the suspect without injury to persons or property. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Patrolled Bunker Avenue during school lunch break.

• Checked on a possible abandoned vehicle 100 block W. Riverside.

• Checked on possible abandoned vehicle Cameron Conoco parking lot, they are working on getting the vehicle removed this evening, Beamis front office was notified and they will have it towed if it is there in the morning (it is posted).

• Citizen contact at Cameron Conoco reference a broken down vehicle in front of the Post Office. They wanted to know if it was okay to be parked where it stopped running. K74 went and looked at the vehicle and it was not blocking and not a hazard. K74 was unable to locate the person to tell them it was OK, but K74 did NOT tag it as they too were working on getting the vehicle removed.

• Evidence work.

• Traffic stop 300 block E. Cameron, verbal for distracted driving (cellphone use).

• Agency assist. Assisted county at Walmart with multiple subjects possibly in the process of theft/burglary. Assisted other agency.

• Landline request regarding child custody questions/issues, referred to the court for more clarification regarding status and upcoming court. Nothing was discussed regarding needing further investigation on the criminal (our) side.

• Marked vehicle for 48-hour 100 block Mullan Avenue.

• Vin inspection at the Kellogg Police Department.

• Dog trapped under the outdoor barbecue at Dave Smith Motors. Recovered dog and transported to the vet, but not before it went No. 2 in my back seat (Thinking it must have eaten at Taco Bell if you get my drift). Then the little demon dog walked in it with all four paws and left me with poo prints everywhere.

• Possible overdose 100 block of Legion. Unfounded, subject calling in on others inside the residence when there was nobody else there. Alcohol involved.

• Disturbance 600 block McKinley Avenue. Out of control juvenile damaging property. After mediation, parents did not want to petition for charges. Information report taken.

• 600 block Bunker Avenue. 911 hang-up (Fairbridge front desk). Cleared child playing with phone.

• Suspicious person 300 block W. Cameron Avenue. Turned out to be a County assist as this is a person they were looking for from an incident in Smelterville. Agency assist.

• Landline request over NCO. No violation found. Cleared, NAT.

• Dog complaint at the city park, UTL. No not Rants and Rave related.

• Traffic stop Kellogg Avenue and Mill, verbal for speed 32/25.

• Attempted felony warrant service 100 block E. Portland, negative contact.

• Attempted to return property to its owner. Unable to locate the owner and all in-house information is no longer correct.

• 911 open line 300 block E. Idaho, no information on caller and non-working phone (unable to call back). Caller stated it was a pocket dial and there was no answer at residence. Unfounded for any emergency.

• 911 open line 300 block of E. Idaho. Cleared, was unable to find anyone in need of law enforcement.
