In the early hours on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, Irene Ann Lambert, beloved Mother and Grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed away at the age of 84 in Vancouver, Wash.

Irene was born in St. Paul, Minn., in 1936. At the age of 19, she married the love of her life, Charles Lambert. They traveled the world with the Air Force for 20 years and eventually settled in North Idaho. Irene lived in Osburn for more than 40 years until her recent move to Washington.

She was a woman of great faith and believed that she would spend eternity with Jesus. Irene was also an avid lover of the arts and literature, passionate about her creativity by making magnets that she used to bless many of the people that she came into contact with. She was active at The Cornerstone Church, where she shared with others her crafts and card ministry. Irene showed her kindness toward people through her consistent charity, wry humor and intellect. Irene had an infectious laugh and endearing sharp wit. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; father Joseph and mother Vernina. She is survived by her children, Mike (Nohora) and Teri (Tim); grandchildren Michael (Kristine), Danika and Gabriella; Kassandra, Sara and Emilie (Keaton); great-grandchildren Xamarah, Ariana, Sylis and Everlyn; a brother and sister-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Irene will be buried at Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois next to her husband. Due to the public safety concerns, there isn't a service scheduled at this time.
