Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Oct. 14-21
• Unwanted people at the Trail Motel. Gave people one hour to move RV off the property. RV moved before tow.
• Traffic stop Cameron Avenue for speed. Cleared, verbal.
• Called to Yoke's for a fender bender, information was exchanged. Cleared, public assist.
• Disturbance on the 100 Block of E. Portland. Cleared, parties were separated and peace was restored.
• Report of a sexual battery. Turned into a county assist as it happened in Wardner.
• Traffic stop Cameron Avenue. Verbal speed.
• Bunker Avenue. School patrol.
• While at the football game K79 received a call for juveniles fighting in the park. Cleared, report taken. On a bright note Kellogg won!
• Responded to SMC for a person with a bullet wound. I referred this to the County, as it happened outside of Kellogg.
• Traffic stop on E. Cameron for Following too close and crossing double yellow. Verbal.
• ATL for missing elderly male with dementia out of St. Maries. Male was located a short time after K76 was given the call here at city hall. Cleared, public assist.
• ATL for reckless driver on a motorcycle. UTL.
• Traffic stop in front of the post office for speed, verbal.
• Citizen contact at the PD regarding the debit card issue, referred to other agency.
• Took a dog into the pound from the county.
• Contact at the Kellogg Police Department with subject(s) regarding theft. Took place in the Pinehurst area and was referred to county for investigation/contact.
• Attempted to locate a reckless motorcycle on I-90, sat for a while and did not see any motorcycles. Unable to locate.
• Traffic stop W. Cameron and Riverside, verbal for cellphone use.
• Agency assist, county had a fail to yield in Mullan while another deputy was on a crash on I-90. Canceled prior to arrival (only made it to 54).
• Business check Zany's Pizza, Silver Inn, Cameron Conoco.
• Called to Shoshone Medical Center for courtesy transport. Cleared, public assist.
• Took a dog out of the pound that was taken in yesterday.
• Traffic stop in the humdinger parking lot, verbal.
• Called to the area of Mission and Hill St. for a child running around in the street, mom was located. Cleared, N.A.T.
• Animal complaint Rose and W. Mission, juvenile bear spotted in the area. Checked the area and did not see any bears. Spoke with a subject walking their dogs that came from that area and they did not see anything either.
• Verbal domestic 500 block Elm. Cleared parties separated peace restored.
• Disturbance at the Amy Lynn's. Mother daughter fighting over car keys. Cleared, NAT.
• Cameron Avenue stationary radar patrol.
• Bunker Avenue stationary radar patrol.
• School morning and lunch break patrol.
• Report of possible trespassing 500 block W. Brown, subject was contacted and given a warning.
• Suspicious person behind the car wash at Dave Smith Motors on W. Cameron Avenue. Unable to locate.
• Welfare check/suspicious person Hill Street at I-90. Transient was just dropped off and appeared to be under the influence. Subject was eventually taken into custody for use or be under the influence in Public/Resist, Obstruct Police officer/Possession of paraphernalia. Due to the active resistance of the subject and attempting to smash their head into my vehicle window, assisting deputies requested the WRAP be delivered from the jail. Subject was placed in the wrap and transported to SCSO for booking.

• Assist county with traffic stop 2000 block McKinley. Felony warrant arrest.
• Business alarm at Gondolier. Clerk was locking up and set the alarm off. Cleared, building secured.
• Citizen contact at the Gondolier, cleared public assist.
• Abandoned vehicle towed from Hill andamp; Mullan Avenue. Grey Suburban.
• Trespass call at Silver Mountain. Will have to track down the person. Person was hunting on Silver Mountain property without permission.
• School patrol Bunker Avenue.
• Welfare Check on Mullan Avenue.
• Assist K73 with welfare check 100 block W. Mullan Avenue.
• Attempt to locate several reckless drivers, I-90 eastbound. County got one prior to Kellogg and K74 did not see the other two pass through. These were all called in and aired within the span of a couple of minutes. Unable to locate.
• Assist K79 on a traffic stop. Felony warrant confirmed, but not extraditable out of Oklahoma.
• Traffic stop 300 block of E. Cameron for our headlight. Subject had a non-extraditable Felony warrant out of Oklahoma. Cleared, verbal.
• Traffic stop 600 block Bunker Avenue. Cleared, verbal.
• Landline request regarding possible theft, spoke with RP who is not in the area and was currently at work. Gave our fax number and requested they contact their local agency to get a statement form and have it faxed for a report.
• Fire alarm at Shoshone Medical Center. False alarm with the power fluctuation
• Welfare check on Flume. Runaway juvenile. Juvenile located with mother. Code 4.
• Welfare Check on Emerald Avenune. Person Code 4 and feeling better.
• Checked on open door on McKinley Avenue. Door is open but located on the third floor with no way to get to it.
