Thoughts on militias
Jon Ruggles makes a common mistake regarding militias and the National Guard. The National Guard is a reserve component of the U.S. Army. Idaho has a state militia that is under the direction of the governor and not the president like the NG.
Then there is the unorganized militia, those males 17 to 45 years of age not in the National Guard or Naval Militia.
People forget that when there is a collapse of local law enforcement, like in many cities. A result of overwhelmed police or political malpractice many people have had their property threatened or destroyed by left-wing mobs.
Black Lives Matter, anarchist, and Antifa have caused more damage than in any other civil unrest. People have a right to form a local militia, the unorganized militia, to defend their community. People do not need to depend upon the police to guard their property. They can hire private guards or organize their neighbors to present an armed deterrent to the rioters. Leftist mobs do not have a legitimate right to destroy your community. YOU have a right to grab your semi-automatic rifle or shotgun to stop them.
Banding together to fight the bad guys is a tradition older than you can imagine.
Before there were police, it was the citizen's militia that came together to stop the bad guys or chase them down.
Every responsible and capable adult should arm up and stand ready to take on the leftist mobs.
