Becky Poe Hill, 47

Becky Poe, of Eugene, Ore., passed away suddenly Sept. 19, 2020, in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Becky was born June 15, 1973, in South Lake Tahoe to the late Debbie Dalton Hill of South Lake Tahoe and the late Gerald "Jerry" Hill of Kellogg, Idaho.

She is survived by her only child, Casper Hutchings of Eugene, now residing with her aunt, Donna and Saundie in Santa Cruz, Calif.; sister Mary “Krug” Hill of Kellogg; brothers Jacob and Samuel Hill, and stepmother Kathy Hill of Seaside, Ore.; grandmother Bonnie Dalton and aunts Donna, Doris and Diane of California; aunt Cathy and uncle Dan Hill of Nevada; her many beloved cousins, Dave, Allison, Josh and James, Tara, Greg, Jennifer, Kelly and Jacie; and nieces Debbie and Allie; and nephew Joe Hill.

Becky was married in 1998 to Brian Hutchings of Palmdale, Calif., and married Andy Poe of Eugene in 2011.

She graduated from nursing school in 2001 at Cabrillo college in Santa Cruz, Calif., and worked both in the California and Oregon hospitals. She furthered her education to receive her bachelor’s degree in science where she held several administrative jobs in nursing.

Becky loved and enjoyed her family, friends and profession. She lived life to the fullest and was loved by many for her humor, kindness, compassion, empathy and always had her siblings back. She will be truly missed.

Cremation is planned and a celebration of life will be held when possible. The family suggests memorials may be made to a children’s hospital of choice.
