SHOSHONE COUNTY, IDAHO BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of County Commissioners of Shoshone County, Idaho will hold a public meeting on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the District Courtroom, 3rd floor, at 700 Bank Street, Wallace, Idaho for the purpose of consideration on the proposal presented. A recommendation made by the Shoshone County Planning and Zoning Commission on October 14th, 2020 proposing text amendments, modifications and revisions to portions of the Shoshone County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendments are requesting the consideration of the establishment of goals and policies that promote hillside preservation, regulate development for the protection of natural and scenic resources, erosion management, and public safety. Written comments or testimony in support or opposition to this proposal may be directed to the Board of County Commissioners prior to the hearing. For all submittals greater than two (2) pages, the submitter shall provide eight (8) copies. Additionally, all information presented and or submitted shall become the property of Shoshone County and will be on file at the Planning Administration office. The public is invited to attend and be heard at the hearing.
