KELLOGG — A new face has joined the Law Office of Michael F. Peacock as Brice Frank has joined the uptown Kellogg practice.

Frank, 26, grew up in Rathdrum before attending the University of Idaho, where his path wasn’t always focused on becoming a lawyer.

“I was an accounting and finance major and one of my professors was a lawyer who had a law degree as well as his CPA,” Frank said. “I thought that this might be the route to go, so I made the decision my senior year of undergrad to go to law school. It hadn't been in the plans before then.”

Frank graduated from the University of Idaho in May 2020, and then just a few months later he passed the Idaho State Bar Exam in July.

Due to his high score on the bar exam, he is also entitled to be licensed to practice in neighboring states Washington and Montana, and he plans on securing those licenses in the near future.

Frank was also a CALI Award winner (given to the highest grade earner) for his work in Income Taxation while attending law school.

As an avid outdoorsman, Frank had hoped he could stay in the area somehow, but feels incredibly lucky that when he blindly sent out his resume, that it was answered by Peacock, who could be retiring in a few years and was looking for someone to potentially take the reins.

According to Peacock’s wife, Nancy, the thought of one day turning the lights off and that being it for his office is one that Peacock didn’t care for, which is why they are so happy to have Frank.

“There is definitely opportunity for a bright, young attorney in the west end of the valley and Brice answers the description,” Nancy said. “We're so excited for him and his future here.”

Since his first day at the office in January, Frank has been doing a little bit of everything, but he is quickly figuring out the things that he enjoys more than others — both in the office and outside from it.

“I’m really getting my feet wet, so I’m doing a little bit of everything, but I really like the business and real estate stuff,” he said. “My favorite part of being back is really just being back in the area. Moscow is fine, but I like this area a lot better. All of the lakes and there’s just so many more things to do.”

The Law Office of Michael F. Peacock is located at 123 McKinley Ave. in Kellogg, and he or Frank may be reached at 208-783-1231 or at peacocklaw@frontier.com.
