SMELTERVILLE — A Smelterville man died last Friday from what has been confirmed as self-inflicted injuries.
Shoshone County Sheriff Mike Gunderson explains that dispatch received a call around 6:59 p.m. reporting a deceased individual just west of the old Sands Motel in Smelterville.
Upon arrival, law enforcement cordoned off the scene and began an investigation.
Personnel with Shoshone County Fire District No. 2 and Shoshone Funeral Services were also on hand to process the body and remove it from the area.
