SPIRIT LAKE — Brooke Jessen drove in five runs in the first game and Olivia Glemser knocked in four in the nightcap as the Tigers swept the visiting Wildcats in Intermountain League play.
Jessen finished 3 for 4 in the opener for Timberlake (13-3, 6-0 IML). Logan Walsh homered and finished 2 for 4 with three RBIs and three runs scored, and Bernie Carhart was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
“We played great offensively and defensively,” Timberlake coach Casi Lupinacci said. “We’re firing on all cylinders right now.”
Glemser was 2 for 3 in the second game for Timberlake.
Bernie Carhart struck out eight and walked one in a one-hitter, and also went 3 for 4 with an RBI and four runs scored.
Peyton Lindley was 3 for 3, scored three times and drove in a run.
The lone hit for Kellogg (2-4 IML) came on the second batter of the game.
Halfway through the IML slate, Timberlake has outscored the other three league foes by a combined 115-4.
Timberlake plays host to Priest River on Tuesday in an IML doubleheader.
