Hearsay? Not!

In her recent letter, Dawn Evenson calls the testimony of the four police officers who testified at the hearings regarding the Jan. 6 insurrection. Is it hearsay when a victim of a crime testifies to the events of an assault on his body? I don't believe so.

Instead, I would call all of the rest of her letter hearsay. Has she been there to witness or actually experience her accusations against Democrats? I think not. Therefore, Dawn, you are dealing in "hearsay." The police officers were testifying to an assault on their bodies, the Capitol Building, and Democracy! Truth, not "hearsay."
