Gail Diane (Laliberte) Redmond

| December 13, 2021 8:40 AM

Gail Diane (Laliberte) Redmond passed away on Dec. 8, 2021, with her children by her side and her family surrounding her in sprit. Gail was born to Gene and Nancy Laliberte in Hibbing, Minn., on May 15, 1960. She was one of seven children.

During her childhood, a lot of time was spent at Eagle Lake and family trips out West, which instilled Gail’s love for the outdoors. Gail graduated from Hibbing High School.

After high school, Gail and her two friends loaded down the station wagon with a U-Haul trailer and headed west. She settled in Montana where she eventually started her family. In 1998 the family moved to North Idaho.

Gail’s greatest pride in life was her children and grandchildren. She loved camping and could spend hours sitting next to a crackling campfire. Her favorite place to travel was the Oregon Coast where she loved to watch the wave’s crash against the rocks.

Gail is preceded in death by her father, Gene Laliberte and mother, Nancy Laliberte.

She is survived by her siblings, Lynn Laliberte Hill, Kim (Gary) Enderle, Pat (Judy) Laliberte, Dean Laliberte, Mark (Robbyn) Laliberte and Renee (Mark) Hill. Her two children Sam (Taryn) Redmond, Erin (Chris B’Hymer) Redmond. Her grandbabies, Kymber and Colton Redmond, and Wyatt (soon to arrive Blake) B’Hymer

Gail was a much-loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be remembered mostly for her kind heart, selflessness, and hippy soul. She will be greatly missed.

There will be no funeral services. A private family blessing and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
