Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Jan. 13-20

• ATL for a female that was involved in a pursuit with WSP,ISP, KCSO. County located and followed her to Montana where she was finally caught.

• Assisted county with Domestic, Wardner. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Dispatched to false fire alarm, 800 block Bunker Avenue. Cleared, the area everything code 4.

• Cleared road of debris on Bunker, Division, Cameron and E. Idaho from our midnight monsoon.

• Assisted K74 with suspicious circumstance, 100 block W. Idaho. Cleared, agency assist.

• Dispatched to the 100 block of E. Portland Avenue for possible petit theft. Conducted an investigation but was unable to determine if property was actually stolen. Cleared, unfounded.

• Responded to the 300 block of E. Idaho Avenue for a possible burglary. K76 spoke with reporting party and they informed K76 that the incident happened days before and did not want law enforcements involvement.

• Dispatched to the 400 block of W. Brown Avenue for a possible fight in progress. Upon arrival K77 discovered it was just an argument between neighbors who really don't care for one another. Parties were already separated on my arrival and K77 advised one party to leave the other party alone. The other party did not wish to speak with K77.

• Responded to the 500 block for an attempted unlawful entry. Checked the area but this individual fled prior to my arrival. No damages were sustained to property. No entry was made. Report was taken.

• Conducted foot patrol on McKinley Avenue, Main Street, Ohio Street, W. Idaho Avenue, S. Division Street, W. Cameron Avenue and Bunker Avenue.

• A wee bit windy up in here.

• Majority of day spent driving and assessing damage/assisting with traffic control for downed power lines (McKinley Avenue in the 2500 block). Avista was able to show up and remove the dead power line for traffic to resume.

• Search warrant return service at courthouse

• Malicious injury to Property 100 block W. Idaho. Report taken.

• Burglary 300 block Main Street. Report taken.

• Emergency meeting at Sheriff's Office discussing setting up services for assistance via Red Cross.

• Worked on evidence/numerous landlines regarding evidence.

• Agency assist. Picked up statement form for K74.

• VIN inspection at the Kellogg Police Department. Cleared, public assist.

• Single vehicle crash intersection of S. Division and E. Portland. property damage only. Cleared, report taken.

• Hit and run 200 block W. Cameron Avenue. Cleared, report taken.

• LL request, negative contact.

• Civil standby 100 block W. Idaho and 200 block E. Idaho.

• Responded to the 700 block of S. Division for a structure fire and oh boy was there a fire! A playhouse converted into a chicken coop went up in flames. K77 assisted District 2 Fire personnel with the fire.

• Assisted K76 with a disturbance on the 300 block of W. Cameron Avenue. Checked the area but was unable to observe such activity.

• Made a citizen contact at the Kellogg Police Department regarding found property. Individual had lost their skis near Lookout Pass and wanted to see if anyone turned some in to the Kellogg Police Department.

• Conducted foot patrol on W. Riverside Avenue, W. Mullan Avenue and W. Mission Avenue.

• Dispatched to the 300 block of W. Mullan Avenue for an NCO violation. Report was taken.

• Called to a 911 open line in the area of emerald division. Cleared, UTL.

• Observed flashlights in the rear of a residence in the 400 block of Emerald, checked the home it was secure however the home owners are not here and are on vacation. The people watching the house asked for extra patrols.

• Traffic stop on Agate for a plate falling off of the car. Verbal.

• Patrolled in the snow.

• Shoveled said snow…

• Patrolled in the rain.

• Did not shovel in said rain.

• Report of gun shots again on the 300 block of Cameron Avenue. Was not able to make contact with suspect.

• Assisted District 2 with a medical call 100 block Legion Avenue. Cleared, other agency assist

• Extra patrol on Cameron, Elder and Emerald.

• Courtesy transport for one adult female from Shoshone Medical Center to Legion. Cleared, public assist.

• Agency assist. Assisted county with vehicle failing to yield/60-80 mph through Osburn. Vehicle stopped 500 block of Terror Gulch. Cleared, upon arrival as subject was in custody.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop on McKinley Avenue. Cleared, assist.

• It a wee bit warm up in here.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop, McKinley Avenue. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop, Big Creek. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Extra patrol W. Cameron, Emerald.

• Landline request regarding juvenile issues in neighborhood, extra patrols requested (see below).

• VIN inspection 800 block McKinley. Public assist.

• Vehicle fender bender on McKinley Avenue. Cleared, report taken.

• Checked on a black Chevy pick-up on Elm Street. Spoke with owner and he said it runs and drives and that he will move the truck to a new location.

• Picked up Mr. Shots fired and placed him on a PC hold.

• Had K76 come in to watch Mr. Shots Fired at the Shoshone Medical Center as the S.O. had no one to cover guard duty until 6 a.m.

• Assisted K73 with PC hold at Shoshone Medical Center. Cleared, agency assist.

• Paperwork to Prosecutor/Court.

• Edit report templates at the Sheriff's Office. The Protective Custody (PC HOLD) template should now print normal (not highlighted). It will look the same when typing though.

• Assisted guard at Shoshone Medical Center. Subject from PC hold decided he wanted to leave. He was promptly told no. Then he got tired of talking with me and agreed to do what the guard says so he no longer has to deal with the Kellogg Police Department at the hospital … fair trade.

• Towed a vehicle from the 700 block of McKinley that was tagged last week.

• Landline request regarding motor vehicle accident, happened in a driveway and all parties are known to one another. They were asking if a report needed to be filed and information was relayed that it does not — private property and all. Referred to other agency (Insurance).

• Tagged two vehicles on Elm St for removal.

• Took a dog into the pound from county.

• Welfare check 100 block W. Market, check completed and subject(s) are good.

• Released said dog from earlier.
