•Citizen contact at KPD for possible stalking. Clear, report taken, investigation ongoing.

•Assisted K79 with animal complaint 400 block E. Market. Clear, agency assist.

•Assisted the hose draggers with a medical call for a juvenile, 100 block E. Portland - Clear, Other Agency Assist.

•Foot patrol Kellogg city park.

•Land Line request regarding K79's chicken call. Clear, passed it on to him.

•Assisted county for a Harassment/Distressed individual in Smelterville. Clear, other agency assist.

•Citizen Contact with 2 juveniles at Hill Street and I-90 for disturbance. Clear, NAT.

•Disturbance at the Hill St. Conoco. Clear took one to detox (Steel Reserve).

•Unsecured door X2 at Kellogg City Pool. Clear, building checked and secured.

•Dispatched to the 600 block of Bunker Ave. for a 911 hang-up. Checked the area but was unable to locate anyone in need of law enforcement assistance. Silver Mtn. parking lot with Sticks and Stones in full effect. Yea........locating them was impossible.

•Handled a landline request regarding releasing dogs from the city pound. Advised individual to handle the civil portion of the issue to get the dogs released.

•Handled an email scam at KPD. An individual wanted to report internet scam via their email. Advised individual not to associate themselves in the scam.

•Dispatched to a welfare check on the 100 block of Legion Ave. Was unable to locate individual in question.

•Dispatched to assist hose draggers with an injured male 300 block W. Cameron. Clear, other agency assist.

•Dispatched to assist County with an active verbal argument in Smelterville. Clear, other agency assist.

•Dispatched to Verbal Domestic in progress 600 block Bunker Ave. Clear, parties were calmed down peace restored.

•Watched about a billion dirt bikes come down Silver Mountain with a dust storm straight out of the Sahara following them.

•Misdemeanor warrant arrest 300 block E. Portland.

•ATL for possible DUI in Kellogg, UTL.

•Assisted K78 in locating an intoxicated subject that may have been injured in the silver mountain parking lot, UTL.

•Lots of foot patrol and extra patrol around Silver, boy it was busy out there...

•Issued parking tickets for numerous vehicles on the 600 of Bunker Ave. for parking in a no parking zone.

•Contacted by an individual on W. Portland Ave. regarding reckless driving. K74 did not observe any such activity as reported by the reporting party.

•Dispatched to the 100 block of W. Market Ave. for reports of gunshots. Checked the area but was unable to observe the reports or locate the source.

•Responded to a parking complaint on the 500 block of Bunker Ave. where the vehicle was blocking access to the property. Contacted owner of the vehicle and they moved it a short time later.

•Dispatched to the 800 block of W. Cameron Ave. for a parking complaint. Individual parked their vehicle in the middle of the street while dining at a local restaurant. Owner was located and vehicle was removed from the roadway. No joke...someone from Tennessee literally parked their pickup/trailer right in front of the 76-gas station in the middle of the road and walked into McDonald’s. Everyone was giggling watching K77 shake his head while he searched for the owner.

•Responded to suspicious activity at the bottom of Government Gulch. Checked on the property and discovered a possible burglary may have taken place. Investigation is on-going.

•Citizen contact at Fairbridge hotel, gave citizen a ride home.

•Follow up with Kellogg Pet Medical on animal abuse case.

•Radar patrol Bunker Ave.

•Spoke with a person at KPD about K76's case from the night before. Name of possible suspect placed in his box.

•Got a report of a possible crashed trailer on the 100 block of W. Idaho. Clear UTL.

•Traffic stop, stop sign violation Bunker and Hill, clear verbal warning.

•Mobile Patrols of Kellogg.

•Citizen contact, juveniles out past curfew (Steins Parking lot). Verbal warning, told to go home.

•Citizen contact, juveniles out past curfew (Railroad and Hill). Verbal warning, told to go home (different group of juveniles).

•Reports.

•Citizen contact, suspicious vehicles Yokes parking lot. Cleared public assist (just people pulling over to swap drivers for a long drive ahead of them also asked for directions).

•Suspicious circumstances. Football stadium lights were turned on by an unknown person at around 0330 hours, searched the area UTL any people in the area.

•Welfare check on Flume St. Subject was code 4 and had plenty of food in the house.

•Law update training.

•Landline request for an animal complaint. Clear public assist.

•Vin inspection on the 400 block of W. Riverside. Clear public assist.

•Investigated possible elderly abuse on the 600 Block of Cameron. Clear unfounded.

•Assisted K75 with a traffic stop on the 50 westbound on ramp. Clear agency assist.

•Traffic stop on the 50 west bound on ramp for going wrong way out of a one way. Clear verbal.

•Assisted K75 with attempting to locate a group on Juveniles. Clear agency assist.

•Suspicious circumstances. Football stadium lights were turned on again at around 0000. Suspect a group of juveniles , searched area UTL...( Dave Smith Security also stated a bunch of his sprinklers were turned on).

•Suspicious Vehicle Yokes parking lot, someone was sleeping in the car, cleared citizen contact.

•Traffic stop, Railroad St. no front headlights, cleared verbal warning.

•Mal injury to prop Dave Smith Motors Sunnyside lot. Fuel tanks were punctured on 5 vehicles and two oil filters punctured. Now this guy was just out to do damage, not to steal the fuel. He did not have any gas cans with him and just let all the fuel run all over the ground. The good news is that I have his finger prints, video footage of him and the car he drove (Silver Pontiac G6). Its only a matter of time before I know his name.

•Suspicious male in the Kellogg City Park. Clear Misdemeanor cite and release (Steel reserve again but surprisingly not drunk).

•Bar check at the Dirty Dog Saloon.

•Assisted K79 with Steel Reserve man at Hill and Bunker. Clear, agency assist.

•Dispatched to Steel Reserve Man making a ruckus at Fairbridge. Clear, UTL (K78 think’s he disappeared down the trail).

•Animal complaint for a barking dog 300 block W. Mullan. Clear, verbal.

•Found dog on short street (yellow lab. Clear, dog was placed in the pound.

•Extra patrols around Dave Smith Motors.

•Dispatched to Kellogg City Park for a tobacco violation. Made contact with said juvenile and contacted the juvenile's guardian. Verbal warning was given to juvenile because the kid had a lot more to look forward to once at home.

•Responded to the 400 block of W. Brown Ave. for suspicious activity. Made contact with said individual and instructed them to remove their vehicle for private property which they complied.

•Domestic in progress 100 block Presley Ave. Clear, parties separated peace restored.

•Unsecured residence/Unlawful entry 100 block W. Riverside. Residence was cleared, report taken.

•Traffic accident Mullan and Hill St. No injury's vehicle struck parked truck. Owner of truck was notified.

•Welfare check on female left behind by the bus. Cleared UTL.

•Dispatched to the Kellogg City Pool for a possible kidnaping. Upon arrival K77 discovered the situation was a mother/father attempting to catch their runaway child who was refusing to return home. Everyone assumed it was a kidnapping because the guy was strapped and grabbed a girl who was kicking and screaming the entire time which is a very legit concern. Any who, the back story to this is the child got grounded and decided to take off running through the front door right in front of the parents. The parents then looked for their child for approximately 3 hours before they found her at the pool. Child ended up making a scene and grabbing onto trees and kicking and screaming at the park which alarmed everyone there.

•Agency assist on a welfare check on the 100 block of Flume St. Attempted to locate individual in question but was unsuccessful.

•Assisted County with a felony warrant service on Washington St. in Smelterville.

•Dispatched to harassment on the 100 block of W. Mullan Ave. Cleared civil and referred reporting party to the courthouse.

•Handled a landline request regarding a motor home parked on McKinley Ave. Cleared public assist.

•Dispatched to possible 37 code 10 block W. Mullan. Clear, unfounded.

•Citizen Contact at Kellogg city park for a family reunion running late, after dark. Clear, NAT.

•Citizen Contact at Kellogg Community Center for 2 adults and 1 juvenile in the parking lot after hours. Clear, public assist. A guy driving to Kansas with his wife and 5-year-old had to make an emergency stop in the old middle school parking lot because his 5-year-old had to use the restroom really bad... pretty comedic citizen contact (don't worry she had a "potty chair").

•Assisted County with checking on a deputy who was not answering status checks on Airport Rd. in Smelterville.

•Assist county at Dollar Tree in Smelterville, deputy on a traffic stop with subject with warrant...not answering radio. Arrived as subject was being taken into custody without incident (earpiece fell out and deputy could not hear radio traffic).

•Got dispatched to reports of two males in white shirts throwing rocks off the Hill Street overpass on vehicles. Searched the area UTL, followed up with RP, cleared public assist- "no damage to the vehicle."

•Domestic at 700 block S. Division, originally dispatched as 700 block Main in Wardner. Confirmed to be in Kellogg at the original location. This was a verbal argument between adult brother and sister. Brother agreed to leave for the evening and sister was instructed on how to proceed with eviction process. Parties were separated and peace was restored (NON domestic related).

•Assist County in Smelterville on Washington for a report of 1 male chasing another male and firing a weapon. No neighbors saw anything and nothing/nobody matching the descriptions were located. Other agency assist.

•Motorist assist, Hill St. Conoco. Semi "blocking street", dude didn't know how to back up his trailer, cleared public assist.

•Suspicious Circumstances at McDonalds, someone left a note on a table saying, "Please call 911 for me." Followed up, was able to track down person who left the note, she is code four, clear public assist. Lady’s car had broken down at 4th July Pass, she got a ride from some random people and wrote down on piece of paper just in case something did happen to her, she accidently left the note on the table at McDonalds, she was in Northern Spokane. after some investigating on our end, Spokane County Sheriff conducted a welfare check and confirmed she was Code 4. This was great work by K76 being able to locate this person.

•Juvenile disturbance at Kellogg City Pool. One juvenile trespassed from the pool due to ongoing issues with pool staff. Parent notified as well. While there, dealt with several other issues and kicked another person out of the pool until they can make contact with K77 on Thursday.

•Landline request regarding possible witness intimidation. After speaking with RP, this happened to someone else and was relayed. The "victim" of possible assault (not witness intimidation) was out of the area and would be back this evening - pended this for oncoming shift.

•Stadium lights were turned on again, searched area, Clear UTL anyone.

•Words From the Chief: “We all need to be diligent this year on Illegal Fireworks and take a ZERO tolerance stance due to the extreme dry conditions. We absolutely do not need a fire around here.”

•Hmmm someone said that it might be hot this week. I’m not so sure though.

•Dispatched to citizen wanting contact with law enforcement at 100 block W Idaho. Person claiming someone was breaking in and turning up the heat in his house and making his house hot. Not the case, cleared public assist. Hmm I think the same thing is happing at my house lol.

•Not gonna lie. Stayed the AC as much as possible today.

•Follow-up on hit and run crash from yesterday, suspect turned themselves in. Contact was later made in Pinehurst, where misdemeanor citation was issued for striking unattended vehicle. Report was already created yesterday.

•Intoxicated male in the old IGA parking lot. Clear individual was taken in for detox (Steel Reserve).

•Assisted K79 with Steel Reserve man in IGA parking lot. Clear, agency assist.
