Winds and lightning are forecasted to move through Avista's Washington and Idaho service this afternoon. With this kind of weather, outages are possible and the current risk related to wildfire increases. We encourage our customers to be prepared.

As part of ongoing operations, we are monitoring the weather and are ready to respond. We continue to operate our electric system in dry-land mode, which decreases the potential for wildfires.
