Kellogg man succumbs to injuries following motorcycle crash

HAUSER — A Kellogg man who was involved in a motorcycle crash two weeks ago died Wednesday at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene.

Idaho State Police previously reported that on June 22 around 1:56 p.m. that Troopers investigated a one vehicle crash on State Highway 53 near Hauser Lake Road.

A black 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Shawn Brandt of Kellogg was traveling eastbound on SH53 near Hauser Lake Road. Witnesses state Brandt lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Brandt was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Kootenai Health with serious injuries.

Next of kin has been notified.
