| July 13, 2021 8:50 AM

Teresa Ann Ivie, 53, of Westport, Wash., passed away June 19, 2021, at St. Peters Providence Hospital in Olympia, Wash.

Teresa was born on Dec. 21, 1967, in Salmon, Idaho, to Leonard (Butch) Ivie and Melissa (Ash) Ivie. The family moved to the Silver Valley for work and Cougar Creek up the Coeur d'Alene River is where she called home until graduating from Kellogg High School in 1986.

After graduating, she set out on many adventures, some near and some far, but never too far from the family she loved so fiercely.

She married Robert Jaime in 1994. The two already had two beautiful daughters together, Bonita and Belinda. Although the union didn't last, they remained great friends throughout all the years.

She then moved to Greyland/Westport, Wash., where she met and fell in love with Mike Leathers who she would live out her life with, and who would stay by her side in loving support.

Teresa leaves behind her significant other, best friend and companion of almost 20 years, Mike Leathers of Westport; his parents, Archie and Sue Leathers; her two daughters, Bonita Jaime of Spokane, Wash., and Belinda (Chriss) Baker, and her adored grandbabies, Jayden and Jaxon, all of Post Falls; stepson Shane Leathers and grandson Lyric Leathers of Spirit Lake; sisters Marci of Portland, Ore., Karen of Kingston and Cathy (Greg Bernier) of Kellogg; her brothers, Jim (Jody) of Pinehurst and Danny (Nicole) of Elko, Nev.; and many many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; paternal grandparents Jim Ivie and Mabel and Gordon Fink; and maternal grandparents Lee and Mary Ash.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Teresa was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

RIP dear sister.
