Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: July 7-14

• Handled a landline request regarding trespassing.

• Dispatched to an unwanted individual on the 200 block of W. Cameron Avenue. Said individual was Steel Reserve Man and was later removed, then trespassed from the property.

• Citizen contact at the Kellogg Police Department regarding noise complaint. Information was taken to enforce at a later date.

• Public assist transported one adult male to Shoshone Medical Center from Hill and Cameron. Then from Shoshone Medical Center to the Cameron Conoco. Cleared, public assist (Steel Reserve).

• Found property a person found a purse near E. Idaho no identification in it.

• Stolen vehicle report on Bunker Ave. Vehicle located in Post Falls. Suspect arrested.

• Pinehurst assist. Unlawful entry. Was able to detain person until Pinehurst arrived. Cleared, assist.

• Parking citation issued on Main and McKinley Avenue — nine in total. Two-hour parking violations.

• Released evidence to owner.

• Land line request X3 about stolen vehicle.

• Citizen contact on the South Fork river regarding littering. Individual cleaned up the trash, given a verbal warning and they left the area.

• Recovered a firearm which was pulled out of the river by a citizen.

• Citizen contact requested on the 10 block of Railroad Avenue for an unknown reason because the Individual refused to say why. Upon my arrival K77 was unable to make contact with this individual. K77 will be attempting again at a later date.

• Dispatched to a disturbing the peace on the 100 block of W. Idaho. Upon my arrival it was discovered no law enforcement action was needed.

• Stolen pedal bike on 100 block of E. Mullan. Cleared, report taken. The bike is an orange Norco coaster 12.

• Assisted 1114 with a warrant arrest at Division and Station. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Dispatched to a run-away 100 block E. Portland. Cleared, K78 was able to locate the juvenile and return her home. Report taken.

• Collected found property from the City Park. Owner was located and property was return a short time later.

• Dispatched to a disturbance on Hill Street under the I-90 overpass. Steel Reserve Man was contacted and asked to move along which he complied.

• Responded to a disturbance at the intersection of W. Cameron Avenue and Short Street. Made contact with an individual and they requested transport to a nearby hotel. Provided transport for said individual to a motel.

• Dispatched to the 400 block of W. Brown Avenue for a juvenile out of control. Peace was restored and charges will be sent to the courthouse.

• Citizen contact at the Kellogg Police Department regarding harassment/threats. Individual requested I speak with the other party to help find common ground. Attempted to contact said individuals but was unable to make contact. More follow-up will be conducted.

• Traffic stop. Hill and McKinley, verbal warning for speed.

• Fixed turn signal in P613 — the maintenance request was updated.

• Assist K77 with his harassment incident in the 100 block of Cathryn Avenue. K77 will follow-up with parent(s) at a later time.

• Worked on computer stuff prepping for later this week for the installs in the vehicles.

• Traffic complaint, for juvenile's riding dirt bikes on the street, 600 block S. Division. Cleared, verbal.

• Assisted the Idaho State Police with an ATL for a missing person whose residence is in Kellogg. Cleared, negative contact.

• Assisted K75 with possible burglary in progress 1000 block McKinley Avenue. Cleared, agency assist.

• Dispatched to the 400 block of Bunker Avenue for a battery. Spoke with both parties and report was taken.

• Responded to the 800 block of W. Cameron Avenue for a motorist assist. Individual was able to get turned around and back on the interstate.

• Placed an individual on a detox hold in front of the Hill Street Conoco (this was done prior to him making it to any of the places that he had been trespassed from, as well as being evaluated by medical, as he most likely would have suffered from heat stroke). Steel Reserve.

• While dealing with detox, clerk at Hill Street had an issue with another customer. Long story short, the transaction was completed and the subject was trespassed from Beamis properties. K77 provided a transport for this individual.

• Traffic complaint at 100 block E. Portland. Juvenile riding a lime green dirt bike up and down the road. Reporting party did not want contact, nor did they provide information. K74 requested assistance from County as K74 was just dropping off detox hold and knew whom the possible suspect was. Contact was made with juvenile. Mr. Green dirt bike in 400 block of W. Brown and he admitted to riding. As nobody witnessed and wanted to sign, he was given another warning and told that his bike would be towed next time he is caught riding in town and he would receive more citations.

• Assault at 100 block E. Portland. One person cited and released for battery. Witness statements collected and report taken.

• Prowler Call at 600 Block Riverside. Searched the area UTL any suspicious people. Cleared, public assist.

• Patrolling and noticed smoke in the distance responded, ended up being a fire burning on the side of the I-90 Exit 50. We played firefighters and put it out. Cleared, citation issued.

• Animal complaint. Bunny in neighbor's yard, located owner they came and got the bunny. Cleared, public assist.

• Words from the Chief: “I received a couple of complaints recently that involve indecent exposure. It is my understanding that some individuals have been caught in the parking lot across the street after library hours viewing images or videos of private nature and enjoying themselves beyond what is appropriate in public.” Don’t tickle your pickle in public people!

• Assist the Hose Draggers on a small fire at the golf course driving range. Not sure if someone was smoking a cigarette or hitting some scorchers with a driver. Cleared, assist.

• Threats at 200 block W. Mullan. After making contact, this is in reference to a brother-in-law asking for a roofing nail gun to be returned. He had already spoken with an officer and just wanted to update that he is still receiving messages…with no threats contained therein. Advised to keep the messages in the event he gets taken to civil court. Unfounded/civil.

• Vehicle crash on Hill and Mullan. Cleared, report taken/information was exchanged.

• Stolen vehicle on Main Street. Report taken (later recovered in Kingston).
