Friends, Neighbors, and Owners of the Central Shoshone County Water District.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank You for allowing me the honor to serve as Your Chairman of the Board for the past 16 years. Since I am now 84, it was time for me to retire.

We should all be very proud of what of all of us have been able to accomplish by working together! Our district has received two awards from the EPA. One National EPA Award of Achievement for the Districts Filter Plant and one EPA Region 10 Water Award for our program to remove lead pipe from the district in 2019.

The EPA also produced a video in 2011 for national use about Our Filter Plant and the USA Recovery Act.

JUB the District's Engineering Firm won the 2011 award from the American Water Works Association for Excellence in Engineering — Best Medium Water Work Project, for Our Filter Plant.
