KELLOGG — The Kellogg School District mobilized their crisis team over the weekend in the aftermath of the death of one of their students.

“It is with great sadness that I write to inform the community of the Kellogg School District that we have been struck by tragedy with the passing of one of our high school students," read the release from the district. "We ask that love, thoughts and prayers go out to all individuals affected by this untimely death.”

At this time, the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office has not ruled the death as a suicide and is investigating the matter.

The KSD is offering counseling services at Kellogg High School as needed throughout the week.

These services are open to students, staff, parents and community members.

The Shoshone County Crisis Resource Center is available at 208-556-0500 and the Kellogg School District implores people to seek help if they, or their loved ones need help during this time.
