• Called to the 400 block of W. Brown for a possible stolen cellphone. Cleared, report taken.

• Landline request regarding Custodial interference. Cleared, civil issue.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop just East of Galena Ridge. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Welfare check 100 block E. Portland for a possible missing person. Cleared, negative contact.

• Citizen contact at Kellogg City Park for individuals in the park after dark. Clear, individuals were educated on park hours.

• Foot patrol Kellogg City Park.

• Citizen contact Cameron and Bunker, stranded traveler. Cleared, public assist, he got a ride to Coeur d'Alene.

• Assisted county with a fail to yield/DUI 400 block Brown. Cleared, agency assist.

• Commercial burglary alarm at the Cameron Conoco. Cleared, false alarm.

• Evidence inquiries about items being returned.

• Flagged down by citizen, stating her child ran away, referred to other agency.

• Attempted warrant service on the 200 block of E. Idaho Avenue. Negative contact.

• Traffic stop at Bunker and Hill. U-turn across double yellow. Cleared, verbal warning.

• Traffic stop Bunker and Hill at failed to yield. Cleared, verbal warning.

• Assisted county with a possible suicidal subject in Smelterville. Cleared, agency assist.

• Hin/Vin inspection at W Market for a boat and trailer.

• VIN inspection on the 100 block of W. Riverside.

• Suicidal subject the 700 block of McKinley Avenue, arrived made contact with the subject, wanted to get help, gave curtesy ride to Shoshone Medical Center. Cleared, public assist.

• Civil standby on the 200 block of Flume. Cleared public assist.

• Suspicious person on Maple and Kellogg at the St. Rita's Catholic Church. Cleared, individual was just using the Wi-Fi.

• Assisted K78 with a public assist at the FairBridge. Cleared, agency assist.

• Assisted K78 on the 400 block of Bunker for an individual that wouldn't get out of a vehicle. Cleared, agency assist.

• Citizen contact at the FairBridge for a stranded traveler. Cleared, public assist. A person was visiting family and got into a fight with said family. Said family then dropped said person at Silver Mountain and said person decided to get drunk at Noah's and then call 911 because he didn’t want to pay for a room. K78 managed to convince him to pay for a night at Silver Mountain rather than sleep on the sidewalk.

• Found property at the Kellogg City Park. Entered into safe keeping and placed in cold storage.

• For those of you wondering, Steel Reserve is safe and staying in Wallace at the grey bar hotel.

• Suspicious circumstances, noticed smoke coming from Kellogg city park. Arrived and saw “dust” was on fire. Fire was contacted to arrive on scene. The Hose Draggers did a fine job of putting out the dust…. I’m thinking it must be really dry if the dust is catching fire.

• Landline request regarding a repossessed vehicle. Cleared, public assist.

• Foot patrol Kellogg City Park.

• Assisted Idaho State Police with a traffic stop at the Gondolier. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Bar checks at Dirty Dog Saloon and Noah's canteen.

• Foot patrol on Railroad Avenue and City Park.

• While reading the local gossip page, I saw a complaint about the road work and one of Kellogg’s Police officers being a “liar.” Something about orange or white paper placed on vehicles warning people about the upcoming road work. Well first off, Kellogg Police Department did not place the warning notices on the vehicles. The company that is doing the work did. They put the first notice out on Friday and the second on Monday. Second, your vehicle that has not moved in two months is in violation of city ordnance 10-2-13 E (3) leaving a vehicle on the street in disrepair.

• Dispatched to a 911 hang-up on Railroad Avenue. Check the area but was unable to locate anyone needing law enforcement assistance.

• Responded to the 700 block of McKinley Avenue for an unwanted individual. Said individual was escorted off the property.

• 911 hand up call on Railroad near the basketball hoop. Cleared, I was unable to locate anyone in need of law enforcement.

• Foot patrol Railroad and Hill for Silver Hoops.

• Found property at the Kellogg City Park. Clear items were left with the registration staff of Silver Hoops.

• Burglary alarm on the 10 block of E. Cameron. Cleared, building was secured/no signs of forced entry.

• Burglary not in progress on the 500 block of W. Riverside. Cleared, report taken. The doorbell camera thing is not a bad thing to have. Warrants will be issued for Ms. Daylight Burglar.

• Possible harassment on the 800 block of McKinley. Cleared, report taken.

• Possible petty theft reported at the PD.

• Called to Silver Mountain for an abandoned trailer with a dog inside, the trailer has no plates however the inside was kept, does not appear abandoned. Dog inside did not look in any sort of distress.

• Motorist assist, Kellogg city Park, person parked in the middle of the road W Railroad, made contacted with RO and had him move the vehicle.

• Silver Hoops patrol. Looked like a great turn out and no major issues.

• Radar patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Traffic stop in the 76 parking lot for equipment violation, verbal.

• Called to the post office for a citizen contact regarding an assault that occurred on flume, after interviewing party's no assault occurred. NAT.

• Called to the 100 block of E. Portland for a juvenile party, contacted the kids and advised them they shouldn't camp out there.

• 911 open line near the intersection of Railroad and Hill, multiple units in the area when the call came through and nobody around seeming to need assistance (law enforcement or otherwise). Most likely a pocket dial.

• Worked on computer stuff (mobile computing mostly).

• Assist with vehicle removals for seal coating.

• Civil stand-by requested 100 block W. Idaho. Child custody issue with no answer at residence. Contact was eventually made with family members and welfare check was completed (due to the no answer at residence). Informed oncoming shift.

• Found property at 100 block E. Portland. Property taken for destruction, report taken.

• Parking issues at 100 block W. Cameron. Vehicle gone upon arrival.

• Parking issues at 300 block S. Division for seal coating. Unable to locate owner, vehicle was removed by company as owner was not quick enough to have it moved. Notified oncoming shift in the event a stolen vehicle is reported later.

• Numerous landlines at the office. Most of them referred to investigating officer(s) for their respective cases.

• Called to the 500 block of Maple for a dog at large that attacked a cat. The RP got them separated. UTL for the dog.

• Contact at KPD reference animal complaint near S. Division and Second. Ongoing issue as the original issue was chickens, now dogs after receiving a visit from Animal Control prior. They are also in the process of getting a survey for property lines. Advised to continue with survey and to call if dogs become aggressive/excessive noise or leave their own property and become at large. Public assist.

• Landline request regarding an issue that began in New Mexico. Other party is not in Kellogg but located in County jurisdiction. Referred to other agency after giving recommendations.

• Report of person camping along river near exit 50 on the north side leaving a mess. Made contact with subject and he will be leaving this afternoon. There was no mess left behind, just a sleeping bag lying on the ground that will be going with him. Unfounded (for garbage/littering).

• VIN inspection at the Kellogg Police Department.

• Traffic complaint at Bunker Avenue. Report of purple sports car with Washington plates, speeding and running stop signs, unable to locate and also 90% of Bunker Ave was under construction with traffic control (including pilot car) for seal coating. Only took 25 minutes to check the road from one end to the other.

• Patrolled, well spent the afternoon avoiding the "pilot car."

• Parking complaint in the 100 block of S. Elm, vehicle RP didn't recognize was parked in their driveway. While there the vehicle owner arrived. Cleared, public assist.

• Suspicious vehicle 700 block Caledonia, male sitting in vehicle on wrong side of road with headlights on, male left the residence as before things escalated between him and his significant other — everything was code 4 and nobody was arguing or fighting at that time.

• Report of male defecating next to the roadway (trail) south of the eastbound off-ramp at exit 50. Contacted male and gave courtesy transport to Wallace. RP did not wish to sign citation for criminal offense.

• Welfare check on subject either passed out or sleeping in vehicle in the McDonald's Parking lot, reported to be in a black corvette. Unable to locate (no black corvettes in parking lot and no sign of anyone sleeping in a vehicle upon arrival).

• Civil stand-by 200 block of Flume. RP was contacted and did not know if the other person was available. Also did not have any means to meet at said residence. Advised to contact when transportation could be arranged.

• Attempted warrant service at 300 block E. Idaho. Negative contact.
