Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Feb. 24 - March 3

• Noise complaint 200 block W. Mullan, car alarm going nuts. Cleared, owner disconnected the battery since the car is becoming self-aware.

• Called to the Amy Lynn's for a Noise complaint, verbal.

• Called to Silver Mountain for a disturbance which turned into a detox of a female. Cleared, detox hold.

• Citizen contact with a male and female near a vehicle on Hill Street and Mission Avenue regarding high beams. Cleared, NAT.

• Vin inspection X2 at the Kellogg Police Department.

• Other agency assist. Relayed that a person was ready to be picked up from the hospital.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop in Kellogg. Cleared, assist.

• Disturbance/trespassing 400 block W. Brown. Parties were separating upon my arrival and owner/resident did not, the other cited for trespassing. The person was trespassed from the property without citation (advised there would be charges upon return) and then given a ride to Silver to go skiing…we will be back.

• Unattended death at 300 block W. Cameron. Investigation started and report taken.

• Dispatched to an unwanted subject on the 400 block of W. Brown Avenue. Person was trespassed earlier in the day and when asked why he came back he said “love is love.” Said individual was cited for trespassing.

• Assisted county with a traffic stop that lead to an arrest on the 10 block of E. Cameron Avenue.

• Kicked out two carloads of kids (snow day) from the Mayor's Park on Theatre Road…I should rephrase, K74 advised they are more than welcome to remain if they followed the directions on the signs prior to entering (stay on road) rather than spinning cookies seeing where they can get stuck. They chose to leave though.

• Checked on six vehicles up for tow, all had been moved/shoveled out for snow removal. Closed all the calls.

• Tagged various vehicle at various locations. Emerald/Oregon/W. Mullan.

• Traffic stop at 800 block Bunker Avenue. Verbal for speed.

• Parking ticket issued for vehicle parked IN intersection, Elm and E. Cameron.

• Landline regarding vehicles being tagged for snow removal, questions asked and answered. Public assist.

• Handled a landline requested regarding questions about legal information. Reporting party was referred to the courthouse due to the situation being a civil matter.

• Conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Hill Street. Driver was able to fix their equipment on scene after K77 notified them.

• Dispatched to the 100 block of E. Riverside Avenue for un license solicitors. Checked the area, but was unable to locate these individuals.

• Assisted county with possible 8004 driver. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Citizen contact 700 block W. Cameron for a running vehicle in the parking lot after hours. Cleared, just the cleaning crew burning the midnight oil.

• Civil standby 411 Bunker Avenue. Cleared, NAT.

• Radar Patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Abandoned paper work.

• Citizen assist. 100 block Idaho. Helped a person locate a lost check book. Cleared, NAT.

• Patrolled.

• Tagged vehicle for tow on 200 Block Riverside.

• Radar patrol Cameron Avenue.

• Continued smashing reports and conducting follow-up.

• Landline request for harassment. A lady wanted to report that her sibling was burning her with witchcraft…Said lady declined medical attention. Cleared, unfounded.

• Traffic stop at Hill Street near Railroad, verbal warning for maintain lane of travel and stop at stop sign (McKinley and Hill).

• Traffic stop at 200 block W. Cameron, verbal for speed.

• Worked on maintenance of vehicles (one of the vehicles in the lot had a flat tire, this was fixed).

• Disturbance 100 block of Mullan. Turned out a person yelling at her dog.

• Citizen contact in front of Kellogg library. Wanted to report harassment. Cleared, unfounded.

• Vin inspection at the Kellogg Police Department.

• Vin inspection x3 on 400 block of Riverside.

• Felony warrant arrest on W. Park Avenue. Probation violation out of Shoshone County. Cleared, arrest.

• VIN inspection at the Kellogg Police Department.

• Traffic stop Mission/Rose, vehicle registration (turns out the temp tag did not like sticking to the window. It was replaced. Verbal.

• Traffic stop W. Cameron/Utah, verbal for speed.

• Worked on vehicle crash from Yoke's parking lot that happened yesterday. Ended up tracking down all parties in order to facilitate information exchange. Report created to document the exchange.

• Suicidal subject reported 100 block E. Cameron, subject was NOT suicidal and this was more of a verbal altercation. Report taken for information as parties agreed to separate.

• Assist K74 with a disturbance on E. Cameron Avenue. Cleared, assist.

• Welfare check on Mullan Avenue. All code 4.

• Welfare check on Portland Avenue. All code 4.

• Attempted follow up of a prior case. Negative contact.

• Worked on reports.

• Follow-up on vehicle crash from Yoke's on March 1, 2021 (information exchange given to owner/driver at residence in Pinehurst), also showed video from Yoke's at the Kellogg Police Department to one of the parties involved.

• Traffic stop 10 block McKinley Avenue, verbal for stop sign.

• Traffic stop W. Cameron and Bunker, verbal for distracted driving (cellphone use).

• Checked on all vehicles tagged for snow removal, one left pending contact with owner (no answer at residence).

• VIN inspection 300 block W. Riverside.

• Tried to work on my left arm tan today but the long sleeve uniform shirt had other ideas.

• Spoke with person throwing snow into roadway 300 block W. Riverside, verbal.

• Spoke with person throwing snow 500 block W. Mission, verbal.
