Ronald James Sink, 53

Ronald “Ron” James Sink, 53, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away while doing what he loved the most snowmobiling in the mountains on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, in Wallace, Idaho. Ron was born on Nov. 24, 1967, in Puyallup, Wash., a son of the late George and Eilleen (Ortiz) Sink.

Ron grew up with his two siblings here in the Silver Valley. Ron attended and graduated from Wallace High School, class of 1986. Ron worked for Environmental West Exploration of Spokane, Wash., for many years as a driller.

Ron loved playing golf; he was a member of the Shoshone Golf Course and the Trestle Creek Golf Course of St. Regis, Mont. He also made a yearly trip to play golf in Indio, Calif.

Ron married the love of his life Terri Thacker on May 24, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nev. He will be remembered as the king of sarcasm, as well as a friendly and outgoing person. Ron loved nothing more than spending time around his family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Terri, Ron is survived by nine children, Amanda, Jessica, Ashley, Jordan, Sarah, Carol, Julie, Audi and Arron; his two siblings, Dean Sink and Renee (Arthur) Payeur; numerous grandchildren; and three nephews, Tony, Matthew and Christopher. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eilleen.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Shoshone Golf Course Club House. Masks and social distancing will be encouraged.
