ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF MULLAN SEWER IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 2 Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Mullan Sewer Improvements Phase 2 project will be received by the City of Mullan at P.O. Box 475, Mullan, ID, 83846 (by USPS mail) or 112 Terrill Loop, Mullan, ID, 83846 (hand-delivered) until Tuesday, April 20, at 1:00pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of Cure in Place Plastic (CIPP) lining of approximately 2,500 feet of gravity sanitary sewer pipe, removing/replacing approximately 500 feet of gravity sanitary sewer pipe, replacing associated manholes, reinstating new sanitary service connections, surface repairs, and other related work as set forth in the Contract Documents. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The project is located in the Bunker Hill Superfund Site. Soils are known to be contaminated by heavy metals that are associated with historic mining wastes. Contractor shall comply with OSHA HAZWOPER regulations 29 CFR 1910.120 including HAZWOPER training for employees engaged in the work in accordance with OSHA regulations. The Contractor must have a current ICP license from the Panhandle Health District in order to bid the project. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates Apply to this project. Contractor is required to own a current copy of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) to bid the project.
