Correction

The Shoshone News-Press accepts Letters to the Editor, which are not to be interpreted as the views of the News-Press. Recently, a letter was submitted and published with an accusation made against a teacher at Kellogg High School. The teacher’s name was published in that letter with allegations of wrongdoing. In a statement made at a recent Kellogg School District School Board special meeting, officials reported that the allegations were “exaggerated and incorrect.” The News-Press has since withdrawn the letter from our website; however, the print version remains. Therefore, we have offered the teacher an apology for any repercussions which may occur due to the use of their name in regard to the allegations leveled against them in the letter.
