Free vaccination clinics in Wallace

WALLACE – The Wallace Chamber, Wallace Inn, Panhandle Health District are working together to offer mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Wallace. The free vaccines are open to anyone from anywhere 18 years of age and older.

The first of these clinics will be held on Tuesday, May 18 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday, May 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., utilizing the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) single shot vaccine.

Specially trained medical teams with physician assistants and registered nurses from the Idaho National Guard, along with trained medical representatives from Panhandle Health, will administer the vaccines and oversee post-vaccine observation stations to monitor any adverse reactions.

The clinics will be held in the Galena Room of the Wallace Inn. Participants are encouraged to enter on the west entrance. Anyone age 18 and older is eligible for the vaccine. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
