Central Shoshone Water District Board of Directors candidate: Robert Hickey

| May 13, 2021 10:48 AM

Robert Hickey, 57, is running for one of three open Central Shoshone Water District Board of Directors positions and, if elected, plans to make sure that customer monies are spent right and needed maintenance is done.

Both of Hickey's parents have worked for the Kellogg Public works department and the water district in the past.

He states that his relevant experience includes serving on the Shoshone County Snowmobile Trail Grooming board for 13 years. He also has been the owner and operator of a business that has been open for over 25 years.

Hickey's key issues when it comes to the position include keeping costs and customer rates as low as possible and continuing to deal with state/federal mandates to keep clean drinking water.
