Raymond O’Don 'Odie' Compton, 50

Raymond O’Don “Odie" Compton, 50, passed away Oct. 16, 2021, at his home in Tucson, Ariz. Odie was born on Dec. 4, 1970, in Silverton, Idaho, to Raymond O’Don and Elsie Compton.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and his older brother, Al. He is survived by his life partner, Sandy Canez of Tucson; children Jared Pierce and Rachael Adams of Oregon; along with siblings Sally Compton of Nevada, Crysta Hernandez of Idaho, Sean and Patty Compton of Alaska, Sheila Compton of Colorado, Belden Landsidel of Idaho and Scott and Pam Compton of Nevada; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and special friends, Don Haney, Cole Turner and George Lusinski all of Arizona, and Jeremy Dodge of Idaho.

Odie's favorite pastimes were recreational shooting, dirt bikes, four-wheelers and pretty much anything outdoor related that was big, loud and fast.
